So after closer inspection @PineTarBastard, it turns out it was a marble seed. Just very scuffed and brown. Here’s what they look like, so I can see why I was easily confused. 
We had been cleaning some western marbleseed a couple weeks prior.
I only found this out after trying to pop it like a cannabis seed. They need much more scarification, even boiling water, and sometimes sulfuric acid. Ick.
Anyway we’ll see if we even get any of the marbleseed to germinate.
Also, sorry it wasn’t cannabis. I was excited for a mystery plant myself.
