so its been one month for these girls since sprout started off rough under feeding in coco but got them back on track. but last couple days the leaves are droopy and sad i am watering every second day for the last 2 weeks upping the feed every watering gave them 1100 ppm today of jacks. water ph around 6.
From my experience they look like plants that I watered before I should have. If this happened suddenly I don’t really know other than you’re seeing them right before lights off and they’re already relaxing the leaves. They look otherwise healthy if not ready for an up potting.
ya will be up potting them soon most likely this week. and i agree maybe some are a little to wet and unhappy ? should have added more perlite to the mix but will not be using solos any more those mesh seedling netting i think will be better.
Maybe you’re pushing them too high and they start to have salts accumulated which could lead to a nutrient lockout. I would check runoff’'s ppm with just pHed water with no nutes …
Looks like wet roots. Also too much heat possibly or too close to the light. Leaves in nature drop their leaves down to drain off the rain. Looks like too much water
So the first thing I notice is that they are all drooping to some degree. Some of the leaves have curled edges as well. I’ve had much larger plants in solo cups that didn’t have this problem, so my next question is are they all the same strain? I see GG and AB on the labels (I don’t know what AB is). If they’re different strains, the odds of all of them reacting to needing up potting is slim in my experience. It certainly can’t hurt, but there is a another common denominator here. Those plants are way too small to be 4 weeks old. Especially in coco. I found the TS1000’s to be a little hard on my seedlings, so I kept them considerably higher when I ran them. Just my experience. The good news is they look healthy, but some of the new growth is starting to yellow.
I just think it’s cold and humid honestly. That’s coco with perlite added? Should be tough to overwater, but if it’s too cool and humid it’s easier. Let them dry out and see what happens. Should be able to let coco go pretty dry before they start wilting. You can grow trees in a solo cup for sure. They are small for a month in coco too. Let them dry back a bunch before watering them. What’s the wattage on a TS1000?
What coco are you using?
Did u purchase a 5kg brick or a branded buffered one?
I got drooping leaves with a bad batch of coir earlier this year. But it came along with stunted growth past 3 weeks from seed.
Ohhhh, I’d crank that thing up all the way. I get them up to 400 in a 4x4 quickly. Maybe that’ll bump the temp up and get that coco drying back quicker as well.
I agree with this completely. Plants at any stage love warmth, but especially seedlings and small plants at the roots. My experience with the TS1000’s has been that they are a little too much for seedlings if they’re too close. They’re not a bar light and tend to focus way too much energy in a very localized area. But again, that’s just my experience.
i stunted them for 2 weeks from under watering and feeding. and was good when temps were 72 ish the last couple weeks they only took off recently i will link my log and it shows whats been going on
i honestly think i went from one end to the other and probably am over watering as the last two feeds were preatty heavy compared to before prob half a solo of water each i lowered the light to 50% and am about 3 feet away now
humidity was arounf 60/70% the last week has been arounf 85% when tent is closed. thats why i opened it, u so hot here the ac doesnt stop last 6 days thats prob another issue it cooled off a lot couple weeks ago and then went desert mode again
