Ez cloner for taking cuts

They are easy to make. I also suggest just building one to fit your needs and space.

i have an ez cloner. it works pretty well. however, i can clone with just a cut and some coco/peat in a solo. nothing else. i have this one strain that doesn’t like the cloner and it takes a long time to get roots. other than that one, i get like 95 plus success on clones in the cloner. the simple cut and plant work too, but it’s a little lower success rate. i wish i grew bud as well as I can clone.

Good evening, OG. I had a question and I looked for a topic talking about clones to get some contributions on the subject. Do you sterilize the rock wool before using? How do they do this? I received a package with a few units and it didn’t look that clean and I didn’t want to contaminate my cuts. Thanks in advance!

After reading this thread it sounds like these things

in some sort of basic humidity dome with same water on the base is a good solution.

I get great success with an aero cloner. I would say a 98 percent success rate. The have the ez cloner 16 site to be exact. I can say that the pump does heat up the water quite a bit but if you use clear rez with it that won’t be a problem. I recently tried it on separate occasions with pool shock then another run with just a few drops with bleach. Both time with each of my experiments was a success. I store it with out cleaning it as well. When it’s time for me to clone I do clean it thoroughly. I Scrub the reservoir and take all the parts loose and Scrub those with bleach and water. I soak or replace the clone collars in bleach and water solution. I replace the 360 sprayers or put it all back together and run the unit with bleach and water for an hour. This has worked fir me every time. Lastly I change my water feed solution on day 5 which also keep that bad growth down And gives fresh nutrient
feed to the clones. At day 5 or 6 I have roots or noticeable root nubs everytime

I’m fkn tired of trying to pop seeds I’ll tell ya that… I’ve gotten 4 taproots out of the last 30 seeds or so … lame

Next time I’ll lean heavy into cloning, whatever the method

I use a ez cloner with a humidity dome. This last run we had 90 % success on rooting with in a reasonable time frame with klonex solution and midas clone gel. Works well for me.

very late response but from my experience. i used to run it on a timer thinking it rooted faster but i have run it 24h straight on and have same results the pump running 24h will heat the water quicker so keep an eye on temps

Never had great luck with cubes and Olivia’s, or honey and aspirin in cubes. They sat in the dome until they died usually. About a 10% success rate for me.
Considering an aqua cloner.
