I found a tiny little praying mantis a while back. It looked like a little twig with legs.
Gave him a ride to my veg tent, and forgot about him (or her?)…
Released ladybugs to eat white flies-
Then saw my mantis has quadrupled in size…

Just a question, if you have a mantis in your tent…what are you hoping it is going to eat? Any insect issues you have in an indoor tent is to small to feed a mantis.
Sacrifices must be made.
That is what my blood alter and the chickens are for.
Mantis are one of my favorites. Found an ootheca attached to the stalk of one of my outdoor plants one year. Always a good luck sign.
I’ll get the goat.
Mantids, without a doubt. Lichen orb weaver spiders too.
I like seeing them just rip up something.
I seen a spider last night eat a bug. I was happy.
Dead ones!! But probably pirates
I love mantids, use to raise some as a pet.
Lady bugs, wasps, and green lacewings. Those are the ones that make me happy to see on my plants. Oh, and the Colorado jumping spiders. I haven’t seen any praying mantis this year and very few paper wasps.

This video helped me out a ton drawing a link between insect susceptibility and brix level. Highly recommend watching if you have issues with insects of any kind!

As I went into the flower area, a ladybug started buzzing around
I held out my hand, it landed in my finger💗
Then I felt it kinda massage my fingertip with it’s legs and wiggled it’s but AT THE SAME TIME-
This was the cutest thing ever, until it walked away, and I noticed the big brown turd it just laid…
