Feeding same NPK entire grow. Cutting N necessary?

I buy chempak 3 and 8
: )

Elixir is an other good cheap brand in uk ( just got to look for the right npk ratio but they there )

@WeedKeeper if you change from hammerhead to a pk13/14 you would boost your p higher ? Make p and k more even ish

Veg 1/1/1 plant just cruising
Stretch 2/1/1 pushin n for leaf and stem
Flower 1/2/2-1/4/4 p and k togeather buds
Finish 1/2/5- 1/2/7 no more buds , can only finish , k keeping plant happy as it fades ( low n and p ) no frazzled leafs from k def

Yes that’s correct, it would even out the P n K some but gonna try adding some overdrive by AN with that 1-5-4 NPK this time, around week 6-7 of flowering, let’s see. Much appreciated @ifish :man_mage:t3::dash:

You wouldn’t need to add any pk supliment @WeedKeeper
Assuming its complete ie all secondary and micro elements 1/4/4 w5-7

Jack is easy to use and you can hit the npk @ifish mention

Jacks
Week 1 and 2 transition 20/20/20 plus calmag and Epson
Weeks 3 through 5.5 10/30/20plus Epsom salts drop calmag add booster

Weeks 5 .5 through 7 10/30/20 and 5/12/26 in equal parts gives you 1/4/4 Epsom as needed
Weeks 7 till finish 5/12/26 1/2/5

I pretty much follow that feeding schedule

I quit using bloom booster higher P type ferts over 10 years ago.
Prior to doing so I used higher P nutrients for over 30 years during flowering .

Jack’s Citrus FeED from start to finish is all I have been using since giving up high P fertilizers. 20-10-20

I see no reason whatsoever (for me) to go back to higher P blends.
Consistently more satisfying flowers…(IME).

here is what is was 20yrs ago - No “n” in flower (because the plant only needs P & K for bud development) in fact there are still many lines that have no “n” fertilizers most in bloom fertilizers) wrote to Advanced Nutrients way back then about no “n” - their answer was “a little N will not hurt” Go figure ( if plants fan leaves start to “claw” = sign of N toxicity

Ahaa, this is the very blog (earlier post) which induced me to forgo high P bloom boosters.
The flowers are simply superior in every way… to me.

ETA
The illustrious, irascible Uncle Ben prodded me in this direction as well, he hated high P.

Holy moly is that the same cut just fed less N? Or is that 2 different seed plants?

Someone told me to check out your grow for proof of fantastic buds produced with low P :+1:

Reading posts & books by Pavlis has been eye-opening for me. His book Soil Science for Gardeners really helped me wrap my head around some of the basics. I’m planning to also get his Compost Science for Gardeners and his free ebook on growing tomatoes. The tomato book especially should be applicable to growing cannabis. It will be interesting to see if he has any advice on growing for food vs gardening in general

Thanks for the input everyone :+1: I like knowing others have had similar thoughts and even some pros have researched it!

Ive decided to just keep running the FoliagePro through finish in this round.

Heres a 5 day difference on my late season greenhouse run.
