Chocolate rain.f2
This was originally Escobar’s strain and was preserved by our own @Islayhearts who did an amazing job on the preservation
Love the berry smell it’s a-bit complex so I have trouble determining the exact smells
Sticky and stacking and over 40 inches of plant mainline style 8 colas nothing but bud lol
And frosty too
Slayer thanks buddy I appreciate this strain
Paps
All credit goes to @eskobar as you stated. I just let them bang to make more.
They are looking great. Nice frost rails. The 2nd half of flower is where I think they really show up. Stack well, decent density and weight. Smoke is complex and usually smooth.
Keep doing the great work you’re doing.
Two weeks into cure, the Malawi Gold has two distinct phenotypes, medium length airy buds with red hairs and pearl-like small bud/calyxes, predominately green coloration. The aroma is slight, but I have a feeling that will develop as it cures. Flower time was 17 weeks.
An odd question…
Do you think you could easily hand-strip the pearl pheno calyxes when fresh?
Sort of like shucking peas?
Cheers

how is the high on the malawi gold?
Hats off to you for doing those crazy long sativas looks killer
Probably, I saw @Upstate showing how to do exactly that.
I don’t know yet, this is the first time for me. Maybe we can get @Upstate to weigh in, he’s our resident Sativa subject matter expert.
Top pic taken '21. An unknown sativa leaner from some old bag seed.
Long story short…last year was attempting my first manual light dep with another plant from different seed, ended up with a shit ton of feminized seed from two different plants due to crazy light leaks and failing to keep an adequate schedule but after finally growing out a few beans from each, this one is actually stable, a very spicy lemon scent and an extremely energetic high. Not much frost, but she has her qualities. After seeing that these seeds are indeed stable. Im not giving up on the other, she is finicky but hopefully will be worth the effort. I had tried another light dep and she hermed again, gonna give her one more try.
Im loving everyone’s passion here! Thank you all for sharing your hard work.
@anonymous4289 the airy buds looks a lot like early sinsemilla from the 70’s Hope you get a nice cure.
