This is all really interesting and thanks for the dialogue! I mix the lemon/soda right before washing and there is most def a reaction and there’s A LOT of shmutz floating after I’m done.
When I first did this I did leave a few branches out from the wash to see the difference after cure… and it was a no brainer after that ANY washing was better than NO washing.
My H202 bucket uses 1 gal 3% + 3 gal water so it’s very reactive and both makes me happy and horrified when it’s very active lol.
Im intrigued enough after doing even more research these past few days on the topic in addition to hearing everyones practices and will be setting up a separate buckets for the lemon and soda washes for my this weekend. It does mean my 5th bucket will have to be OUTSIDE the bathtub but I’ll deal with weirdness in the name of SCIENCE!
Very interesting… I also prefer a strong h2o2 bath. However, that’s all I use. I don’t use rinse buckets period. Just dunk them in the strong h2o2, let em soak for a bit. Agitate, then hang. I have occasionally misted them before hanging, but it’s not necessary. I learned this from another old greybeard grower. Seems h2o2 completely evaporates off the plants, and I love the way it comes out clean and pristine. That’s just how I do it, I know we all have our own way. This one works for me.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen Tahoe OG uncrossed and it’s absolutely beautiful @Harry_Merkin and I just love the way it smokes and I look forward to hearing the smoke report and again great job The Doc
And is there any info on the Tahoe OG, from seed or a cutting just curious because I am looking for a decent vendor that has some like mentioned it’s just a tough one to get uncrossed keep it up The Doc
