General use Gardening thread

Got some more 2x2x8 poles burnt for the garden frame in the spring.

Also built 2x more 3x8 raised beds and shovel ed all that soil out of the driveway.

Now just burning extra wood & gonna roast some Hotdogs & marshmallows when its dark. Relaxing rest of today.

Def garlic for life there…
A friend gifted me some Music in 2014. Been growing it ever since. It’s one of my favorite garlics. I select it for 4 fat cloves, to plant forward. I’d highly recommend Bogatyr if you run across it.

Some of those will definitely produce scapes. Make sure you enjoy those next year. And always save your biggest heads for planting next fall, too.

Hell yeah. Love me some real garlic :yum:
@Zolorp definitely will take 50% of the harvests to put back into the ground.

Looking good… I didn’t know they came in white! I have one that has pinkish-reddish flowers. If you’re in the states, we could trade a few snips if you want. If we kept them on the smaller side they’d probably do fine in a bubble mailer. They’re pretty easy to root. I don’t think we’d have much luck getting them across a border though.
