My take is if you aren’t throwing it out or giving it away you aren’t growing enough

I think they just disagreed with my planting choice and thought those pots needed nuts planted.

Squirrels like daffodils

You guys got me convinced to plant some garlic. Gonna load up a 30 gal bucket with some. What are some good varieties to look for? Might check my local feed stores.

Ive been reading up on the hardneck varieties. porcelain, purple stripe, music. Those are some good ones :ok_hand: hardneck have the best flavor i believe.

Martha Stewart says her favorite is red ichilium and that’s a soft neck. I grow elephant garlic I don’t think it’s a hard neck? Never seen scapes :man_shrugging:

I’ll be doing Chesnok Red, French Rocambole, Music, Vietnamese Red, Inchelium Red, and Italian Late whenever I get around to it. Probably have to be next year.

Elephant garlic isn’t actually garlic, no? It’s leeks I think.

My local farm got back to me. I ordered 1.25 lbs of music garlic. 1.25 killarney red. And 1.25 lbs of carpathian. Not the ones particularly i was looking for. But im glad they are locally sourced.
