Stand your ground my friend. Wheelbarrows are an abomination!!

My plan for today was to fertilize everything and then give them a spray this evening. I was going to take pictures today and then in a week or two to show the difference between neglected plants and taken care of plants, but my clones arrived just as I was about to mix up feed. So, tomorrow I’ll do that and put some pictures in here.

Lmao  the neighbor offered me a wheelbarrow today, I declined. Would have to drive it over steps. BUT this is whats left.

We ended up using the woodchip/mulch to put the garden beds to sleep for winter.

Hopefully its not a nightmare in the spring to move and plant in. Or remove for planting.

Backyard operation “kill grass” begins.

I got these three varieties of garlic,… spanish roja, russian red, and siberian. I have the spanish roja. Waiting for the others. This is good enough for now. Should be fun.

Edit still might be getting music. Killarney red and carpathian

Question for everyone. We have this little “dead space” between the garage & neighbors garage that is behind the fence of the garden.

Technically the space from the edge of garage on the right, to that fence is our property and i spoke with the neighbors yesterday (which didn’t care at all about the space & was happy we dropped woodchips on it) we droped woodchips here cause the neighbors put down tarps and bricks to kill all weeds that grew up. Which we removed 2 garage bags of yesterday. Before the chip drop.

Anyway, what would you or do you think we could use this 2.5 ft x 16 ft area to grow anything, flowers? Food? Nothing? Ect?

Build a small raised bed here? Or just leave it as is? We didn’t build this fence on the property line, like we intended because of too many rocks & ashfault slab under that area.

This area does get enough sunlight for atleast 6 to 8hrs a day.

Ps. I know my fence to the right is “getto” built from old deck boards and screws that are too long lol  :joy:

I don’t remember if you already have one but a strawberry bed could be nice. I went strawberry picking at a farm this Summer and their rows were about that wide.

I didn’t know hazelnut was a bush surprised :open_mouth: :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: now I have to look into this.

Definitely. We have a strawberry bed that is 4x8 ft in size.

Ohh what about Asparagus, since its takes what 3 yrs to get established…

Said I’d share pictures of my neglected yard. I’ll fertilize and spray the next two weeks and then take pictures again. When you take them far away it makes them look like shit. Haha.
