Nice variety man and are you using some sort of irrigation for those or just hand watering?
Just hand watering. Thats why they’re neglected. When it’s 100+ and humid here constantly it gets to be a bit much. Eventually I’ll hook dripper lines up once everything is in and mulched.
Oh wow that’s quite the task but got to do what you got to do. Mother nature has not been helping out much lately just bone dry… I’m in the deep South but not far enough to really grow citrus and related fruits very well. Plus we have tons of mature trees hogging the soil and shading
Yours looks better then mine ,)
got any good-smelling climbers?
which ones?
No climbing roses. Neighborhood is lame or I would’ve put a chain fence in and had climbing roses cover it. A couple of my roses came with trellises in the pots, but they seem like bushes to me. The jasmine vines are Star and the bushes are Asian.
Got all of my garlic today!!! Hooked up with the farm and what was coming the mail came! Yay hoo. Trying to beat that frozen weather. Also picked up a black bag of hay for coverage. Then ill be caging them in. Music, carpathian, killarney red, siberian, spanish roja. And i think thats all for now. My brother will be planting some as well
Hell yeah, this is exciting
Ive been lit ever since you did it man.
Cant wait to have tons of garlic forever now!
Upgraded the “bucket” lmao
Everything got moved into the backyard.
Hopefully this breaks down for me by spring, neighbors are giving me rabbit droppings to add to this pile of chips.
Spent all day working outdoors while having a fire
I need to figure out a watering system also so I dont need to water with a hose wand everyday.
Drippers automated are awesome, but I don’t know what you all have to do when it gets super cold. I tried being lazy and just using sprinklers, but after two $400+ water bills I went back to using the wand. Haha.
Love the cage
Its a fine work of art.
Thanks for the idea man. If it wasnt for you i wouldnt have hopped on planting. Props @CADMAN
