If you are processing, just throw the tomatoes in a bag in the freezer. When you have enough, go ahead and process. When you thaw them out…most of the water will separate and you can just pour it off. It’s a lot faster than boiling that same water off. And you can pick your time frame for processing too. I pick fall for processing when there is much less overall heat to deal with.

As fer Bush beans…do you have a fave?

My garlic fork planter
It has 2 speeds

  1. Faster than me
  2. Much Faster than me

Makes 6 holes at one time. It really aids in layout too.

I’ve never really been big on beans other than Black Beans and Edamame but I ordered 2 varieties last week for next season that I think are both pole beans and looked fun to grow which is my main priority with my picks for any plants. I got Scarlet Runners because I have hummingbirds that love red flowers and they’re covered in red flowers and then also Red Noodle Beans because they look like snakes hanging all over and get super long. I don’t really grow anything that’s a bush variety because I love having tall towering plants lol.

Not my pictures but those are the 2 varieties I ordered.

I got a pretty decent yield off of my small pawpaw patch this fall! Enough to eat several and still have plenty to give away to friends. I’ve had these trees in the ground for probably nearly 10 years. Once established after the first year they’ve never been fed or watered.

Those look to be doing great! Can you tell us anything about the environment they are in. Full sun , partial sun ,hill , valley etc. Windy or not. We have more to plant out.
