Getting back to my roots Octopot run finally on!

If that’s mono the alcohol could help decompose the line.
They’re not very expensive.

No they re pretty cheap, and they actually work really well, so much easier than tying them up by hand.

Note to self:

Seeing a touch of fade in the Orange Goji already. Bit too early for that. Was the switch from 1/2/2 to 1/4/4 that most likely caused it. Should have “eased” into it, instead of straight change. Asked ifish what I should do, he tells me go back to 1/2/2 for another few weeks, then when I want to start the fade, change back again to the 1/4/4/ .

All began on my switch from “Veg” to “flower”. Did not transition “softly”, but just rammed it to them, lol.

ifish tells me this:

Hi jetdro about to shoot the breeze : )

when changing from one ratio to another

it’s best to slightly lower the ppm of the next ratio used

say moving from 2/1/1 to 1/2/2 , the plant has to get slightly get used to this jump in ratio , so it’s not too severe a change for the roots to adjust to

feeding on the 2/1/1 we work out roughly how much of the p and k is in that ppm feeding

then we work out what would be the same p and k ec of the new feed ratio to match the older ec value of p and k , maybe raising it ever so slightly and after say one feed then we start raising it as normal , this makes for a smoother change over

hard to explain , but do you get it , just a slight tweak ? Even tho you are going lower in ppm in the change over , the max power and full momentum of the p and k is still there

you get that , smoother change over of ratio ?

YUP fishy, I got ya !. Still love the way you 'splain shit to me!!!

I shall go back to 1/2/2 for next 2 weeks, then, as you say, transition to 1/4/4 over a few waterings, and lower the PPM down to finsih them off.

Orange Goji gonna yield out the ass…she LOVES the Octopot!!!

Hi jetdro , another way to do the change over is just doing a 50:50 mix of the two ratios for one or two feeds
I would do say the 50:50 mix from 2/1/1 to 1/2/2 ( squeeze in some extra n , to be used later ) and in the 1/2/2 to 1/4/4 later on when ramping up use the method above , maybe , from here on in its all your doing / how you like to do it
I’m getting you to think about stuff and how to play , to get a feel , dail in your own style , of doing things in them octos
Keep her lit : )

For @OleReynard

AK/WR 47’s outside . No idea of days, guess 4 weeks maybe. Some WAY FASTER than others, the 2 small Afghan freaky looking ladies make strange Bud. You know them Rey?

Across the board here. See a tall “quick” sativa leaner, a squatter not as quick sativa leaner, 2 Middle East leaning fat leafed Indy looking Ladies, and another in between these two.

I posted them for you Rey, so help me identify IF you can . The tall fastest one IS Cherry. The other that looks like her is also, but not as pronounced. The squat ladies are just building Bud and not much smell yet, if anything, it is a heavy deeper NON sweet smell…

The little weird stuff on some leafs is the plastic from the Green house coming apart, no roof left in the middle, WHY they are all piled up in the sides. My monitor colors are still YANKY, hard to tell what the pics look like, but in person they are healthy, but kind of “dainty” little things. Prolly the lack of light in their veg days with the OG hanging over them,

So ease in and ease out.

Think the 50/50 ratio going IN NOW will be enough to stop the leaf fade? Guess it is only 3 days at the rate they are feeding now anyways. I HAVE to fill every 2 days or it will go dry, so OG is sucking 3 gallons per day right now!!! The others are about 3/4 -1 gallon behind her. I COULD NEVER HAVE hand watered 3 gallons per day CORRECTLY , so fucking GLAD to be back to my Octo’s…let her rip Bitch…lol…Sorry, just watched “El Camino” the Breaking Bad new movie about Jessie…he says bitch every scene…lol.

You will find out if it works or not : )

Agree…will that leaf that is starting to fade come back or will it continue to go and be lost??? You know?
IF I get her enough N in the 50/50 mix I shall try tomorrow.

The goal would be to stop it progressing more to others , but if you lose it sure it’s only one fan , no biggy at this stage : )

Remember the last grow I said you may not get the fade your after and then this grow you may fade abit early , then next grow nearly get the fade , then the next grow after that you will get the fade your after as you play and dail it in , kind off
Fun times : )

I understand, but this run is really close!!! Bet if I had held off of 1/4/4 another week, OR 50/50 'd into the 1/4/4 I would not have seen this. But as you say, good learning experience and FOR SURE this run will “finish” the way I want this time. The perfect fade will come to me. You know, if it was so easy, everyone would have hard tight heavy finished plants growing Bud not leaf !

Love the node spacing and the short stature.
These should be naturally short, true AK’s don’t get much over 3’ tall.
The red palms really stick out.
The shorter leaved ones, I call beaver tails. Where they broaden out in the center.
The stackers with the above characteristics, be the ones.
Nice crop Jetdro
Spitting image of both parents.

You mean the taller faster "stacking " ones as opposed to the fatter leaf ones???

Thanks man, told you I would run them right, thanks again for them.

I took cuts off the tallest furthest along one…was that the correct one to do that on, a bit confused on your reply,?
Tell me again please, and NO I am not high yet, lol!!!

The fatter leafed ones are pretty much pure Afghani.
Reminds me of the Mazars I have.
Nice breeding stock. Some of those have a strawberry odor.

Longer leafed ones are of course more Thai didn’t see much of the old lumbo, I believe I told you that earlier.
You find an old columbian out of these let me know.
The Thai I didn’t care alot for.

1st press of Orange Goji. From Razor, 3 one gram press’s on my lil 1 ton mechanical press.
For only 1 ton OG really preformed well, 22% return on the 3 grams, at 1 ton, that is really good.
