Grizz718's Garden

I did. I’m using it for the first time in DWC. I don’t have a control to see a difference. But everyone that dose uses it says it works.

Oh wow I’ve been staying at 5 ml per gal. I’m going to crank it up tomorrow. See how much of a difference I see in a week. I think I should be able to see a difference. You think so @Chronickyle?

@ShiskaberrySavior @LilJonB how soon can u start feeding ur plants silica

I’ve never used it I’m a hydro guy. Sorry. I looked it up and I’m getting different answers. I am curious to what people have got to say. I just learned the silica is absorbed at a PH of 7. I’m sure you could get some at 6.5.
Here is @ShiskaberrySavior now!

I usually will start at there first or second feed at 1/4 strength then continue to up it to full over the grow till week 5/6 flower then drop it off completely. I’d been told anything past that time isn’t necessary

Just check your ph after mixing and if your using general hydro nutes do the silica first then micro then cal mag in that order or you’ll see separation and silica balls floating.
More than likely you’ll need to ph down a bit as the silica tends to raise the ph.

I wouldn’t think so your next round will show a big improvement in stock / stem thickness and overall better health . You probably won’t see too much improvement unless your just starting flowering where it benefits a lot is early veg through to after the stretch .
