@oleskool830 the purple Kush auto I got from @LilJonB. One of my auto extremes is a trifoliate 3 leaf nodes instead of 2 pretty cool
oleskool will dance for seeds!
I had 3 Auto Extreme 2 popped and weāre growing. I accidently killed one, fumbling with the tap root. The other got snapped over somehow. It was still green so I used a toothpick as a stake to stand it back up. 2 days later itās still green. The third never popped. So I MIGHT have 1 auto extreme to grow.
@BigMike55 my autos are going outside gonna do my blue grow in the tent. Still got 3 auto extreme and 1 purple Kush.
A buddy sent me a pic of an auto extreme heās growing that I sent him. Hereās what you have to look forward too
Iām trying SS#4 auto fem outside.
Nice looking plant
Thats a thing of beauty.
The Purple Kush originally came from @Chronickyle as well. Lol. I got a PK and a AE going again. Iām waiting before I start showing off. Last time I did they went to plant heaven.
Exactly why I have not started posting of my new stuff yet. I will start posting in a couple weeks when they have proven theyāll be staying for a couple months.
@BigMike55 Iāve never grown autos b4 can I trim them or just let them grow out. They are going outside so they will have plenty of space
Haha. Wrong person to ask here my friend. This is actually my first intentional go with Autos. I say intentional because I have run a few White Widows that I didnt know were Autos until I had already topped them and started training. Then it became apparent they were Autos after the damage was done. They survived but I was less than impressed with the yeild or smoke. It produced very airy loose buds that dont get you really high like the Widow should. Its good for morning pick me up with my coffee. I think training is ok but i probably wont top these. I may take a couple clones for making some she males but i think I will let these do their own thing.
Nefrella used to chop hers up real good. I would just be mindful. Some are more resilient then others.
@Chronickyle should know which ones will give you a fit. If the ones youāre referring to came from him.
I think with me screwing around with those Widows, they spent a lot of time reparing the damage than actually producing and stacking flowers. Just my opinion. I dont really know. LOL
I wonāt top a plant anymore unless I know it needs it. You get the same result just bending them over. No recovery time.
I usually donāt trim my autos I worry about stressing them with a limited veg cycle I have been known to introduce those auto fems too bondage though and give them a good tying down. Not saying thatās the best way just what works for me. @nefrella had her system dialed in and had some top notch mephisto genetics and cutting up her plants worked great for her, Iād just keep in mind that she had her system dialed in and top notch genetics, without both of those less cutting is better. Im sure the auto extreme can handle some. But that said I was pulling nearly halfs without doing anything. The purple kush is a slower grower I donāt advise cutting it. Maybe I should send @nefrella some of my purple kush auto too see how it does in her setup. Maybe it can be cut up with the way she grows.
One another note, I told you I had tried to pop 3 Auto Extreme the one that got bent over and I staked her up with a toothpick? Sheās gonna make it, I think. So, I will have 3 SS#4 autos and hopefully 1 Auto Extreme.
Plus I have 4 Blak N Blu Cookies, and 3 DragonBlood Hashplant that will hopefully be used to create seed for all.
Iām 50/50 on topping autos. The clock is always ticking so you must be mindful of any actions that can inhibit or slow growth - but it is nice to maximize the potential yield. You can absolutely top them but I wouldnāt do that to a plant that isnāt growing vigorously. I start auto seeds in a Solo cup, but transplant into their final container after just a couple weeks before the plant can get root bound. I always LST to open the plant to more light and air movement. I currently have a topped Double Grape and an untopped Walter White, both around 6 weeks from seed.
@BarefootAndBlazed do you have any pics of your autos?
