So worth 500 to 1000… to have a unique design I can see why people would gladly pay it… just blown away man… she’s special to be able to do that quality work! True talent!

Lots of folks don’t see the value. They see it as just another blanket. It’s far from that. You don’t see blankets from the 1800’s do you? There’s a lot that goes into these things. If she has, say, 40 hrs in it. How much do you pay yourself? What’s your time worth? See what I’m saying? It’s not just the material. Which is expensive in itself. Plus it is very usable art. And it won’t fall apart when you wash it. I have quilts she has made 30 years ago that still look like she made them yesterday.

No, American Indian. I believe part Choctaw and part Chickasaw.
I did research one time the meaning of her name. It appears to come from Ukraine or Eastern Eorope and has something to do with betrayal, especially government treason.
I used to tell her it meant ‘Demon Child’. She failed to see the humor.
