No. Just trying to spend as much time with my parents. My dad is really old and may not get to see him again. It’s one of this full circle type of trips.

Finally back. Happy holidays and hope everyone has a happy and prosperous New Year. I didn’t adjust the blumats correctly for the three large plants in flower. Leaves are a bit dried and crispy, but Friday is day 63and the buds are plump and ripening just fine. Sour has filled in and has another week or two. Everything else is getting chopped day 65 to make room for the new cuts. Just need to take clones. Dogwalker OG and Biscotti sat out in 9 degree temps for 10 hours but were perfectly healthy when opened. The house wreaks of skunk and had to break out the air scrubber. Someone on Reddit who I gifted seeds to for my Christmas giveaway sent me a link to someone growing Cloney’s Albany Sour and they look the same. That’s not to say it’s the real Albany, but a cut being passed around as the Albany. Whatever it is, it’s a skunk bomb and I’ll be keeping her as the yield is massive and she smell heavenly. Hopefully the sour comes out in the next two weeks.

I have Hellbilly pollen from last breeding round and I’m dropping beans of White Rabbit’s Sour d bx3 x Wing Wang sour d(technically a Sour d bx4 which I handed out as f2 testers here), which is the AJ cut that has genetically drifted slightly over the last 23 years, when Wing Wang got the cut from AJ. Also dropping White Rabbit’s Giesel x (SFV OG bx3/Sour d)

Week 10, Sour d. As I search for an answer…is this the real Albany Sour d or not, the answer is it’s definitely not the clone only, but a pretty decent imposter. Could be a Notso, but I’m leaning towards Dr. Greenthumbs ecsd from seed that has been passed around as the Albany or AJ or ecsd for some time. When I look at finished pictures and think of what I used to get in the 90’s as ecsd, it’s definitely not the clone only. But it probably fakes out a lot of people. It’s very stinky, mostly funky skunk with some sour at this point. With only a week or two left, the sour could build, but it should wreak of sour by now. Will it make good offspring? I think so. I love the yield and frostiness. Bud structure is pretty good. Some buds are really nice and others are stretching a bit. Smell is definitely sour d….just not that jaw dropping, mouth puckering dankness. I’m going to hit her with a few Sours I have and hunt around.
Clones I’ve kept- 1 Sour d , 1 Dogwalker OG, 1 Biscotti Mintz, 1 Trop Cherry, 2 Jet Fuel, 2 Chimera #3, and 3 TK. Out of everything I have and smoked, only the Jet Fuel is a true keeper.
Seeds popped are 3 AJ Sour d bx4, 3 Ponderosa Pine, and 3 Giesel x (SFV OG bx3 x Sour d). Looking to make f2’s possibly and collect pollen to hit anything worth hitting. This flower run will shed light on the Biscotti Mintz, Dogwalker, Chimera #3. Dip n Stix is out. No sweet desert strains from this side of the tracks. As of this moment I have Hellbilly pollen and may have a pollen diner or two send me something.

Decent germination rate. Would have been 100%, but I lost one sour d bx4, because I broke the tail off when moving to the rapid rooter. 5 Ponderosa Pine started 3 days after the others. It’s caught up to the Giesel x SFV bx3/Sour d, which is lanky and growing slowly.

The new flower tent. One week in. Two small plants in 2gal pots are Biscotti Mintz and Dawgwalker OG. One clone of each was taken and the Dawgwalker doesn’t look like it will survive. 6 plants in 5gal pots are Albany Sour, Jet Fuel, Chimera 3, Dip n Stix, TK, and last run of Trop Cherry. After talking to multiple breeders, the consensus is it doesn’t breed well. Blumats will be installed today.

About 2.5 weeks into flower. I set up the blumats again, added a top dress of One Shot, and continuing JMS once a week.

I’ve been juicing the Sour d and Jet Fuel with nitrogen the last few weeks, since they like to stretch. They look great this round. Pretty excited to see how the Sour d turns out. I’m trimming the first round today. I have it cut on stems in a paper bag, inside a 2x4 tent that’s vented to the outside but it’s still stanking up the house.

Not Albany Sour d. Some random wannabe Sour. Not my best work but love this plant. It has that lemon, skunk, and burnt rubber stank to it. Throws nanners late in flower, after week 9. Since it throws so many nanners, she’s scrapped from the breeding program and all clones were culled. I do have a plant in flower. Hope it turns out better than this run

It’s seeds in the two washers and pollen in the middle folded up paper. I’ve been seeing some really nice plants coming out of the DZ × (OGC×CJ). Oldtimeunderground had one that he said was straight up PVC glue. My buddy just finished a couple about 2 weeks ago and had a stinky piney chem smelling one. I smoked a bowl of it yesterday morning and I was very impressed with it’s strength. The pollen is F1 cross of OGC × CJ mixed from 2 males. Bred by Loudog

I’m a dope sometimes. I didn’t check. That’s my fault. I better take them out of the freezer. Thank you so much. I’m going to grow both with the Chocolate Diesel and Sour d x Faceoff OG this summer. I’ll tag you when things get going.
