I hear ya on that. For several years in a row I used the same makeup kit to (badly) paint my face and called that my costume. An effort was made…but only just barely, especially toward the end of that span as the makeup started drying out. But I knew if there was barely money for food & rent, I best not ask for a Halloween costume.

Good roots, but looks like a little Persimmon deficiency…

All of my Stamp contributions this month were the “De La Muerta”, I love halloween, but not any kids around, or anybody else for that matter. But I did go shopping today as a Marijuana Grower, Scratch and sniff and all… Love your setup!

Happy Halloween everyone, crowds building here at the Dawson house.

I’ve been passing a house on the way home from work a few days a week for a month that had some extensive decorations but they were always covered with garbage bags. I didn’t know if it was like an unveiling or just rain protection or what but I made it a point to go yesterday to see everything. Before going I had the thought that as disappointed as I’d be it would be hilarious if they were just trolling everyone and building anticipation only to leave the bags on

I drove past slowly checking it all out and the woman was out on the steps so I said hi and told her I had been waiting to see it. Her husband came out and I told them I had been waiting and about the troll thing which they got a kick out of and said they might have to do one year. They said it took a month to set up and there was so much electronics involved that they weren’t taking chances leaving it uncovered. They told me I had to press the buttons they had run out to the street of which there were probably about 10 that controlled the bigger stuff. Between the slight walk between buttons there was other stuff that was motion controlled and jumped out at you as you walked past. Pretty cool.
