You took it out of the freezer and it didn’t just melt by itself?
@JoeCrowe It had a taffy like consistency out of the freezer, and now after bottle tech, it is powdery.
Wonder what I’d end up with if squished it into rosin?
I took a glass jar and filled it with 72C water, then used that to melt down my freeze dried hash. Made no difference if I used my hand or a hot water bottle to do it, the hash melts into a thin pool then I rolled it into a sticky-ass ball.
@JoeCrowe I’ll have a look at it under a scope and see if I have contaminants. My fingers do get a little sticky handling it. Any ideas to explain hash that doesn’t melt, is it lower quality or does some resin just not melt? All the other water hash that I’ve processed and dried in the freezer has been very melty.
Is it from a new plant that you just started working with?
@JoeCrowe a one off, didn’t reveg and didn’t clone. Also was not a good hash yield.
Good riddance, then My next advice was to toss that plant in the trash hehheh
I know it’s a sin but I love my paint mixers I might do the first wash by hand but after that…WHRRRRRRRR!
Hell I don’t even separate grades anymore, everything below the 150 and caught by the 45 go into the primo at my house
Ya its a pain my the ass (back) for me as is sometimes, so power pool assistance it is! I want to upgrade my mixer to one of the big egg beater ones though.
Lol! Looks like the best of both worlds right there hah!
“Of course I use a wooden spoon…”
@Foreigner My good sir, Brilliant!
