been enjoying some of my summer grow after a cure and press. i have been reading @JoeCrowe hash making i am not all the way thru this fine discussion yet, but got to the part he talks about what looks like thc crystals forming. my method is pretty generic but i cannot help wonder are these thc crystals forming?
i cure the press in parchment paper inside a covered Tupperware in the fridge and then flake / separate the crystals when i load my rig and or as they form.what do you think?
this pic shows how they form and you notice the crystal forming and taking place at the top of the press/blob. lol.
whatever is going on i like it .

The crystals look like this, and you can see them if you use a microscope. Crystals will form inside the rosin sometimes. I usually extract them from underneath the rosin bag.

It’s a mixture of thc and terpenes! Definitely.

I liked it smooth smooth loved the terps. And easy to grow other than they like to drink a lot. Lol I have or had some pics of the flowers if I can find I’ll send you some pics it has decent bag appeal.

End goal is some temple balls. Not sure what else to do with it tbh. I don’t have access to a press or anything. Just washed some plants last night, and now it’s in my freezer

You can take freshly washed hash that’s still wet and whip it while applying heat. I have a glass top electric stove top that I put a piece of parchment over one of the burners and set it to the lowest setting. You can put the hash on that and mix and whip it with a pin. The water will evaporate out in a few minutes of whipping with heat. Just be care not to add to too much heat. The end product is like rosin and can be used immediately
