After a few days in the refrigerator
Instead of parchment I put a small Mason jar on the stovetop and whipped in that.
If you cut it up small and let it dry in the freezer, you can just dab it straight out of the freezer.
I pressed some white widow I had drying to show a friend who loves shatter solventless extractions. Starting at 85c and going up by 2 c each press. I rolled the rosin into a ball after and have it in the freezer now in a glass jar.
4 gram Dark & Dreamy birthday mash
Scarlet Sunset/Black Cream/ Creamy Blacklights/Double Grape
Thanks OG!
fresh frozen bubble hash that clumped up in room temp that I pressed into balls. Then formed the balls into the shape of a rosin bag and pressed the hash into rosin. 43u - grandmommy purple
That last post of mine was the first time I pressed hash into rosin. I didn’t press enough at one time before as it was just a test to see if what I was doing would work. I am still working on how to load the bags, fold the parchment, and temperature hunting… but the 2nd time really went better, especially visually.
72u fresh frozen grandmommy purple pressed at 173f through 2x25u bags
Wooo, since my last post is still right there, I can post an update on that last pressing of the 72u. You can see it in the top left in the first pic. It was still really hard like taffy and candy so I only mixed up the top layer.
It eventually settled into this consistency
I mixed it up and let it hang out for a while until it formed into this nice little pie
But for the real posting, up on deck I pulled out some from this 45-159u pressed bubble from the fresh frozen and formed and stuffed it into a few bags to press into rosin
This was some of the stickiest rosin I have ever pressed. I almost lost a gram to the gloves cause it didn’t like being handled, lol
It immediately turned into this consistency
and cured into this, it is some of the more funky and pungent pressings. I think it’s cause it got a larger spectrum 45u-159 instead of some 73u-159 I did that is stinky, but not the same stinky.
It worked out well, but look what the other non-rosin-pressed cured into; this is that same stuff that was on the scale and under it. It’s the left over behind the brick sitting there looking all hashy. I think this photo makes it look greener than it is, it’s more blond. But the rosin pressing fixes that… however, this stuff here is really starting to get stinky and it is really really nice to add to joints.
This is still all Grandmommy Purple from Herbies Seeds.
next time i’ll try to do the same with my grandmommy purple
I mix a little into my ground flower for vaping.
If I get greedy… it makes a mess…

Very nice work! Put the gloves in your freezer for a couple of hours and the rosin will get brittle and come right off.
WOW!
How many plants did you harvest?

I was thinking the same thing . Couple thousand?
Those are brussell sprouts you’re not fooling anyone.
That’s from 4 plants in a 4x4. 4 different strains. Yielded 21 and a 1/4 z’s!
