You could simply run some micro irrigation pipe and then use drippers with either and adjustable flow if you want to get fancy or a fixed rate flow for simplicity.
So then you can run the drippers
Via a tap timer according to the flow rate of the drippers you choose.
Most of the micro irrigation stuff is cheap and easy to setup.
You could also use a res and pump instead of the tap directly, I put saucers under all mine and it takes a little while to work out how much water they will drink without overflowing onto the floor etc. either way with fixed flow dripper nozzles it’s easy enough.
