Before SilkRoad’s demise there were SR forum’s hacked … Hacker published contents of this forums and exctracted available information.
There is long article summarizing that ~s~ did registered in SR forums but also helped with some technical issues advising Mr. Ross Ulbricht (Silk Road’s author Dread Pirate Roberts).
Be warned that it is very long reading full of intrigues and conspiracies!
Hard to tell if particular accusations are based on truth, but it really suggest that people behind had something in common (at least developer skills, security and privacy in mind).
