To me pixie sticks and sweet tarts/Smarties are the same smell. Sweet and tangy at the same time. One of the Nikahs im flowering right now smells exactly like skittles.
Wow, man, look at that “crown” of white pistils she threw out there right at the top. You think she’s one of those ones that just randomly spits out new pistils every week or so? And makes you wonder,”Should I let her go a little longer?” for days on end until you finally decide,”Fuck it, I’m chopping her…”? Haha.
Yeah I noticed that and I think so. The tops are basically done now. Question is, take the tops again and leave the lowers for an extra week or two, or just take them all.
I feel weird about harvesting plants in pieces, never done that. It’s all or nothing with me, baby! Haha. But yeah, maybe. I’ve always thought that that “random new pistils when the plants should really oughta be finishing up” thing is something that’s never gonna stop no matter how long you let the plants grow. It seems like it’s just a thing some plants do, so…
Yeah, I’d just chop her haha.
@HolyAngel i would love to see a full SOG with those bubbas !!
They’re at 9 weeks flower currently, so I think they’re as big as they’re gonna get😜
I’m more of a Brawndo guy myself
Really beautiful work you ve done there. So glad you found a nice lady. I have enjoyed watching your process to get there. Hope she is as dank as she is pretty.
Some plants are definitely like that but I think what happened with these for me is; I’ve been topping off with full feed this whole time and while I was getting the pH up recently, I slacked off again last week and the pH went down to 5.65 or so. Therefore nitrogen was readily available. So she decided to throw out some new flowers instead of continue trying to finish up. Jack’s was looking pretty done everywhere comparatively. So in this case, I blame myself lol
OH! I thought you said Veg before?
Yay! Thank you very much, again! I’ve enjoyed finding her and that male some beautiful plants in those beans! I think shes really gonna help with my nerve pain too. The fact she’s super loud and throws down on top of it, is icing on the cake! I’m definitely gonna enjoy hunting for her male counterpart, and anything else in there that catches my eye will let ya know, hope you’re doing well over there bro
On a side note, I was going over the dynasty discord and I think that girl might be a Salmon River OG leaner
I’m guessing all the sugary smells are coming from the sugar black rose tho, idk… but I like it
What a beautiful job you have made! Very impressed by your results!
Pz
Salmon river is a a pretty one dynasty just posted this gal on his instagram
can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the black river ogI usually lollipop hard and take all the tops at 9 weeks. Nice and easy monocrop and doesn’t stretch much. The stems will get too weak for the heavy heads unless you net it. You can get some nice fade though when you dial it in.
I did, but what I intended was “my plants that vegged for 7 weeks”
Poor sentence structure on my part
Yeah that definitely seems like the way to go with this cut
Ah, okay, that makes sense. Looking at that pic, I had memories of that friggin’ Purple NL2 haha, thought that your OG might be doing something similar.
Are you talking about this Black River OG? Or just in general? I never monocrop and very rarely grow anything that only takes nine weeks (unless I get impatient and chop too early haha).
oh god no Actually, speaking of those. The Chem #4 is almost 5 weeks into flower, here’s a pic from last week
and while she’s smelling a lot like NL5Haze to me, there is something in there that heavily reminds me of those Purple NL2’s
Pretty positive he’s only referring to the OG Kush cut I’m running. I got it from him.
What HA said. Just observing on the BROG. I would never make an overall assertion like that for a strain I have no experience with. I do run mostly a few seed sisters at a time. Keeps stretch mostly uniform.
Well, there is a little Chem in that Purple NL2… Might not be the #4, but it’s in there… haha.
The og is definitely a lolly pop plant. I dont bother topping it. The bottom branches like to reach and will produce great buds. Any fluffy nugs are usually either on a skinny branch i should have culled or the light was too far. I try to chop out all those small branches just as i flip, then selective pruning at 3 weeks into flower. I stop feeding completely in the 6th week. I finished around 9.5 weeks this time. Right around 1g/watt in my sog. Heres some nug shots. Its curing now.
did you delete the journal you had or am i mistaken ?
Yeah, i felt over exposed. Not used to sharing such things on the internet. Old school paranoia sorry
