That looks like a full-on seed in the second photo. Does it have a pistil growing out of it, though? I will say that I’ve seen some sorta similar-looking growth on mine. It doesn’t look exactly like your pics, but it is something that’s caught my eye more than once and made me do a double-take. I’ve looked pretty closely at mine and feel confident it’s fine. BUT my eyesight is really bad, so I can’t be sure.

neither one have any pistils coming out of them. no trichomes either. Looks very much like balls to me

So… I think it is a seed pod. All 3 pnl2’s are seeded… my nl5hss girl is seeded, although only just barely, going to chop her now just so its mostly clean smoke as there’s no way she has another 6 weeks to make seeds… Good chance the FLC BX1’s are seeded too. All with Purple NL2 pollen. Destroyed my bud run 
Oh well, seeds will be given out once I get there, still got a couple months to go.

Looks like a tiny bit of pollen hit it. It’s a seed swelling. Your Pistils are white around it as well.
Those plants are looking beautiful my dude. I’m loving those red/cherry looking. I can’t wait to get a female from the FLC to hit the FSLH. I wanna play with the Lemon Skunk in the mix. I’d like to put some density on that haze.

Shit, that sucks. Are you positive it’s from the PNL2? Now I’m worried about my grow. I did notice that some of the pistils on some of my plants were darkening and withering pretty early, like around day 30 or so. But that’s been happening with some of my plants for the last few runs and none of those plants had any seeds in them. I also noticed last night that the PNL2 had thrown some new white pistils, so I THINK my plants are okay. But I dunno…

well… I KNOW it’s not from the NL5HSS or the FLC BX1, and the only males i’ve had flowering in the last 6 months have been the PNL2 Males, so has to be their pollen and I just wasn’t careful enough.
Went ahead and chopped the nl5hss #5, like 10 days early but it’s gonna be good enough. Should still be 100% smokeable as the seeds were little dots and not hard yet.
Everything else is getting run till its done so… fuck me on bud but should have plenty of pnl2 f2’s and maybe flcbx1 x pnl2. I haven’t seen a single nanner or anything else on any of the PNL2’s girls, was just those two seed pods freaking me out, so I don’t think it’s herm. NL2 doesn’t herm, unsure on purple unicorn but not seen any reports of it either.

As-is, we’re definitely a bit early with the chop, but i’d rather not have actually seeded bud, and I can’t leave it long enough to get seeds either or I would’ve just done so. Early it is.

Grape sodaaaaaa! Glad you’re picking up on that smell, I thought it might just be me imagining things. How come the PNL2’s are slightly messed up? You mean because they got seeded?
I really dig that tall foxtailing FLC. Really cool-looking. It kinda reminds me of one of my Smart Move phenos from last year. That one had really big, fat tops, but they weren’t super-dense or anything. Good weed.

No just the soil got messed up 
I’ve re-amended it but the PNL2’s have yellowed leaf edges and calcium spots on a lot of the leaves.
Buds still look good though, but im sure they’re not as good as they could be ^^
And yeah that foxtailing FLCBX1 is pretty interesting. It’s definitely another one I’ve thought about cloning, only this one would be for outdoors.
Pretty sure gonna have awesome mold resistance with this look

No I don’t think this foxtail one is the same pheno as the big girl, the big girls buds are decently dense and look more like the mom or the short pheno. Not quite as dense as the mom, but definitely not just foxtails of calyx’s like this one 
This was my first go at “12/12 from seed” so all the FLC BX1’s(big girl and the others) are 67 days old from sprout. Technically been under either 11on/13off or 11.5/12.5 the entire time, I’ll double check in a bit ^^
Buds have been growing for 43 days so far… so I’m thinking they’ll be done within a month or so? I really have no idea. The mom went ~63 days or so in soil the last time I ran her(not 12/12 from seed), but the dad is that hazy nl5hss #1 so I’d think he could possibly extend that up to 80ish days depending on the pheno.
Im still popping these seeds though and looking for a good male myself. I’m hoping when I make the bx2’s that it’ll tighten up the bud structures all around and keep towards the shorter flower time(both traits the mom has) while not losing much in the way of vigor(what the dad is bringing). Just gotta find that right one. Not trying to make BX1 F2’s as I don’t think that’s the way to go yet.
On a side note, we’ll at least get a good look at the sister to the mom, FLC #2, here soon. And I have a whole nother pack to look through too as I try and work this out to a reg line
