Looking good in there
Yep. I fog H0Cl like @thatdankbassist 1-2x a week for the past 4 weeks. Though my PPM ends up `1000+
Last year I SOAKED one plant in it though to october because it’s nugs were so big and dense that it had no business growing outdoors in southern ontario… but it was totally PM and budrot free due to my efforts!
Now I fog as I do to prevent anything from showing up in the first place. I’m using a fogmaster Jr which covers really well and isn’t as violent as that atomizer
Your tent looks nice and dank @thatdankbassist
Does it leave any weird taste on the buds? And thank you, I’m definitely proud of this tent and wanna keep it looking dank to harvest!
Not at all!
Also I bud wash my outdoors in a 4 bucket wash anyways due to the construction in my area, and general nastiness in the air from 4million people squatting in concrete.
Bucket 1: 3gal water + 1 gal 3% H202
Bucket 2: 4gal water + 1 cup Lemon Juice + 1 cup baking soda
Bucket 3: 5 gal water
Bucket 4: 5 gal water
The first time i did this i was appalled at what was floating in buckets 1 and 2 so I vowed to always wash my outdoors.
For similar reasons, this year indoors, I’ve started to thoroughly mist with plain water until run-off. A couple of times up through early flower. Give the plant a nice shake and much of the random garbage that’s been collecting gets rinsed off.
This kinda screws up the the nice structure, because of the weight, but I’d have to stake them at some point anyhow.
you have a picture of your setup…
It is something like…
Now I have a little titanium plates, so perhaps I will update it.
And that connected to a 15v 3A power supply, could be less amps but I like to be on the safe side …
Nice, how does it work, good results?
Its almost like a colloidal silver generator…
It works well.
For colloidal silver is better with a current limiting circuit and alternating the poles from time to time.
I think I upped a schematic here in some place
After thinking about it, i just bought this today, need it to spray my girls, they are getting some white powder mold, and they are outside…
Nice! When you get it maybe we can share measurements?
Got mine recently and got the pH down to 4.7 with 16ml of vinegar, 3 little scoopers of salt, on low setting… Appears to work spot spraying pm.
what brand or type of machine do you have?
Same dh labs as yours
Nice, i found this on the web if anyone is interested… Reddit - Dive into anything
Hey Growers, I just wanted to point out that you can subsitute Potassium Chloride (KCL) for Sodium Chloride (NaCl) and eliminate the sodium exposure all together…Not that the sodium is a huge issue, it’s just that Potassium Acetate is actually a desireable fertilizer, Sodium Acetate…not so much.
You can use exactly the same amount of KCL as your NaCl in the mix.
(BTW, when you’re generating, you’re producing hypochlorous acid plus sodium (or potassium acetate) The acetate is formed from the white vinegar (acetic acid)
Thanks bob. Looked at some on amazon and ordered for next year.
I have an idea for an experiment related to HOCL, but won’t be able to run it any time soon. I would love to have someone volunteer to help me try this idea.
The things the other person would need:
- HOCL generator and test strips to confirm ppm (or willingness to use tablets to have a known amount each time)
- ultrasonic / “cool mist” dehumidifier
- Ability to make humidifier run on a schedule
- Ability to have an isolation / quarantine tent
- herms, males or ability to sts something
Basically some thoughts on ways to both prevent accidental pollination and avoid mold/mildew while doing so (which is where the HOCL comes in). I can explain in more depth if anyone is interested in trying it.
It’s based purely on “so this thing does this thing” and “that other thing can do that thing” “I wonder what happens if I combine the effects?” So it’s based on two possibly misunderstood concepts! If you’re willing to dedicate some growing space to testing a theory, let me know!
I don’t have the isolation conditions right now, and won’t for the foreseeable future.
Hello Everyone, I’m 3-4 days away from harvest and I noticed mild dew patches on my plants. Do you recommend using HOCL(Hypochlorous Acid) or H2O2(Hydrogen Peroxide)? I don’t want to throw them away. Will make cannabutter out of the sugar leaves and other leftovers.
H0Cl @FlyingYogi if it’s on the plant.
But you may now want to consider a bud wash.
(Pathogen Kill)
Bucket 1: 1 gal 3% H202 + 3 gal water (20c)
(Debris Removal)
Bucket 2: 4 gal water + 1cup lemon juice + 1cup baking soda (20c)
(Rinse 1)
Bucket 3: 5 gal water (20c)
(Rinse 2)
Bucket 4: 5 gal water (20c)
Best of success growmie!
