Is General hydroponics PH down harmful to use on roots organic once?

I got some roots organic original,
im starting some plants in and I have nectar for the gods Ph down coming. I was about to transplant the little guys into soil but my nectar for the gods isn’t here yet, would the general hydroponics ph down hurt anything that’s in the roots organic long term? Or is it ok to
Go ahead and transplant them with a watering like this 1-2 times?

@HolyAngel do you know anything like this or a proper organic way to drop the ph of the water if needed where I don’t have to drive over an hour to the hydro shops out here

Lemon juice.

Yes, it’s safe to use but it’s obviously not an organic chemical.

Gotcha thank you!

These guys are “All Natural”. I’m not sure if they are “Organic” though.

They say it won’t harm beneficial bacteria, so that’s a plus.

GH ph down isn’t gonna hurt anything… but yeah lemon juice would lower ph for ya too. I wouldn’t use lemon juice for a reservoir or anything but just for watering it’ll be fine. But so will the GH PH down, its just not “organic” but :man_shrugging:

I have a few bags of that tnb up and down, I’m pretty positive it has bennies in it itself. It also takes quite a bit and does not seem to last.

I have absurdly hard water, and the small bag lasted me a full grow pretty much. Weekly 30gal res refills.

Although, it is nowhere near as strong as concentrated ph down (Phosphoric acid).

I’ve used Citric acid powder for years to drop ph. It does drift up more than the ph down does but I like the ph drift for soil grows personally. It’s available at the canning section of a lot of grocery stores as well so no waiting for Amazon to ship.

Or citric acid to drop pH.

I’ve used apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, or vitamin c powder to do this.
I find that VC powder has the least amount of drift in water that’s gonna sit for a few days btw.
