I like looking at space.
This is the true problem with time travel.
Way less than they spend on the military
wow that Truley is amazing
I learned a lot from the Pythons. 40,000 light years from galactic central point, around every 200 million years, 16,000 light years thick etc etc etc…
so, yea… Pray there’s intelligence somewhere out in space course there’s bugger all here on earth. Truest song ever.
Just an idea but maybe we should launch another telescope at the opposite direction of the James Webb going away from James Webb, you know what I mean…
That is pretty intelligent. Lol you would think they could put one in space they might be able to look at the bottom of the ocean. Can I get a hell yeah!!! What a crab that is blue.
I’m no scientist, but maybe the distance it can travel is fairly trivial compared to the distances it can see into space.
And hell yeah to the ocean too haha
Eye candy. Lol
You are currently looking at the 500 million stars in our neighboring galaxy, Andromeda. Every star is special in itself because every star must have at least one planet. We know Life cannot exist on every planet, but there may be some planets where life is flourishing or may have already evolved. This universe is so interesting, all you need is an understanding mind.
Pix of Starlink satellite from last night out in the country…I didn’t need James Webb to see it, just your naked eyes or binocs.
The colours of the Star Trails depict the Temperature of that Star. So many little secrets when you look up.
Taken from the Deck of Canada’s first Oil Well; Petrolia Discovery, looking upwards through the replicas structure, way back in time.
I’m going back when the sky is dark again (no moon) next, cuz the Greenhouse that is polluting the nite-sky in the image, washing-out the colours mid-picture, has since closed.
I like the Dark
Hey @PhilCuisine Thanks for posting that colour chart. I was not aware of this.
Awesome stuff it certainly IS
that was the coolest thing i remember about the desert back in desert storm. when we put our nvg’s on and looked up, all the holes in the sky where it’s black looked like this. that was black night with no light pollution at all right before the war kicked off. i will never forget it.
These pictures make me feel like a little kid again
