ya should fine some interesting stuff in those cherry hi-s seeds, would not be surprised if ya ran into some grand parents as well.
on the other could that seed be from a bit of release pollen from the WLL, if you think so just pull it and throw it in the trash. no need to waste your time with it, if your not sure then ya keep it with you.
I had all the plants out today at 28 days. Looked close at them all for anything out of place. Trimmed a lot off a couple that were choking. Needed air and light anyways. I looked close on every plant. Clean as a whistle. Not a hair outa place. Those WLLs that hermed were loaded with male flowers at 28 days. I just trimmed up the last 2 WLLs tonight. Not a single seed on one. Just a few on the other. What’s with that? Could the pollen in some of those have been duds? I’ve heard of pollen that was not good, but not my thing so can’t comment.
Didn’t get pictures today, but all 7 Cherry Hi-C’s are nice plants. A couple stretched quite a bit, a couple stretched very little. I’ve got 3 phenos, I think. Not as much visually as the difference in terps.
Got pots ready for the Grapefruit GORGs. Hopefully tomorrow.
Grapefruit GORG testers are inm new shoes. Going with 2’s as that’s what I have clean. Took a peek at a couple, roots look nice. They’re the ones on the left and to the back. Got 7 nice ones!
Had all my Cherry Hi-C’s out today. Looking good at 32 days @JAWS . There’s a range of orange from none on one, to Extra strength Orange. Right on the mid range I think are the Cherrys. Tart-sweet with the lightest hint of orange. Barely there. Some were topped, others not. All are what I think will produce above average. For me.
I did a decent, strategic leaf removal. Keep some good air flow going. Clean up the lowers some a last time. Lights go off, my fans never do. My outdoor world is moldy here near the coast.
These looky fuller than 32 day plants. I know my day count is good on these. Either of the parent strains known as early finishers? O
I ended up having watered my WLLs the day before I cut them. They were outside .Weather change. Took forever to dry. I like to avoid that. Not an issue in the tent.
Cherry Hi-C testers again. All out again today. Another 3/4 bucket of leaves mostly. There’s a couple still need more removed. Didn’t want to stress them at 35 days. Had them all in the house to clean them up. I went out for about 30, came back and the house just reeks.
I was pointing out a couple I really like. The missus says “they all look great to me!”. The smells are all there still. A couple real strong orange ones.
There’s something syrupy in a couple. I think it’s Cherry, but I can’t nail it down. I really like orange terps. Citrus in general.
The orange reminds me of some orange zest frosting. Sharp. Hard orange stem rubs.
Last thing I want is to stress these girls. They all look so happy. Maybe a bit leafy still. I’ll give them a few days and pull any more I think need to go. I don’t normally like removing anything after 5 weeks, which was yesterday. A few days is fine. I have taken to doing a decent leaf strip a few days before they come down.
In my learning curve I’ve pulled too many and they all but stopped growing. Didn’t plump up like the other plants I had going. Defoliating, transplanting, and flipping to 12s was a painful lesson. Some of you may have watched my pain when they just sat. And sat.
Still lots to learn.
Okie dokie! 1st question direct for @JAWS . I have Alien GORG F1-V2 up as my next testers. Mostly because it’s the only pack of unopened testers I have. I’m pretty sure I have something else, but can’t find them. Or is this it? Sorry for any confusion. I can guarantee there have been no testers that failed to get going.
7 Grapefruit GORGs. Yes… @JAWS , the GF terps are, in typical Jaw’s Genetics style, crisp and sharp. Out of the 7, 4 are solid GF terps. My clothes smelled from moving plants around. Made the room stink. Some topped, some left to go. Both styles are nice and open. I like plants like that. Those snappy terps are another Jaw’s trait.
Some shots here. These weren’t picked for any particular reason. These are still in veg. They could go now, but I’d like to pull a few leaves on a couple, wait a few days then flip.
ok damn you do have a lot going, when ya get a minute PLEASE shoot me a list of testers you have going of mine. no doubt your doing more testing then any one even myself of my creations.
yup the grapefruit is some strong gens for-sure, i so with i had made some grapefruit cookies with that girl while i had her here with me. that one i over looked some how.
im doing these in this round.
blue gorg
exodus gorg
lost gorg
just finished with the ALIEN GORG F1-V1 so things are looking good for this summer. it was sad to hear that the chimera gorg did not make the cut.
Morning @JAWS . In my 4x4, I’ve got 7 Cherry Hi-C testers @41 days. Can’t friggin’ wait to get these processing! Terps are strong! Beautiful plants. I’m guessing some could come down as soon as 10 more days. We’ve got a strong orange version. A couple with “some” orange terps. One with no orange, but plenty of stink. Nice, nice, nice!
3x3, still in veg. 7 Grapefruit GORG testers. Some more with powerful terps! Real distinct grapefruit terps on some. These will hit 12s soon, a week at the most.
Besides the Alien GORG testers, I’ve got TW GORG and Chem GORG f1-v2 testers. Not starting any real soon, but it won’t be long. I was thinking of starting the TW GORGs, that’s unless you have something else in mind. You’ve got time if you want me to run something different.
Next time I have the Hi-C’s out, I’ll try and get some decent bud shots. There’s some definite visual differences. There’s also a range of orange terps, some being sweet/syrupy, which I believe is Cherry. I need to have the missus give 'em a sniff.
I’m amazed how well these have been growing. Your work I’ve grown recently all seems to have a big feed window. Not prone to being sensitive at all, at least from my perspective. Not fussy. I like it!
very cool and ya f1 are fun to work with, just never know what might pop up from the past genetics.
just let me know when/if you ever have herm issues with anything of mine. everything thing else can be worked in or out but herms are herms and the batch needs to go in the trash.
Grapefruit GORGs to 12s. Still in the 3x3 for 2-3 weeks. There’s others mixed in here. I’ll get things organized in the next day or so. Some better pics.
Pleased so far.
Cherry Hi-C testers are @49 days. One plant the buds are rock hard, 10% amber on the top stuff. Still a ways to go, but everything’s starting to plump up fast. Watching those dense buds for and mold. One might be a little early. I’m thinking 65 days. 2 more weeks?(upload://foKO9aRiyihjwEs6vA7mjUBLnhh.jpeg)
