been doing this for 20+ years and my seeds have never been cheaper to acquire, it makes it tough to pay the bills but i really really enjoying being able to put my work out there that most any one can afford to try them.
Pretty amazing gear for a reasonable price! I haven’t made any purchases due to my finances, but there’s sure some good looking stuff coming up. Now that’s providing @Jaw’s can get them all tested!
All the double heather s have been cut down. This puts there finish time at 8-9 weeks depending on how you count and preference of harvest time.
I was seeing 20-30 % amber trichs under the scope when pulled. I will post dry shots and a smoke report in the coming weeks.
The plants were very uniform and easy to grow, minimum stretch with what I would call a above average yield. Unless it was crazy luck, the uniformity of the ladies is perfect. You aren’t going to have to hunt through 50 beans to grow what the pictures show. You will get some variety on smells/taste but to me this is what worked lines should turn out…less variation more consistency.
Just read thru this amazing thread. Congratulations to you and to @JAWS .
Great work growing and great work documenting. Im sure you have JAWS seeds for life!
Thanks man I really appreciate that. I know on my end Jaws gear has earned its place in my garden. Free seeds are great but if the quality isn’t there or the breeder isn’t working genetics I’m interested in I wouldn’t be interested.
excellent my friends thank you guys so much for testing for me and thank you to the new growers that are going to be testing for me in the nest round.
im having some health issues lately and have not been online in a few days and may not be back on for a few more after today. but for-sure my garden is still up and going its suffering a bit but i can only do what i can do right now. hopefully i can get past this over the next few days and get back to full time posting and getting my garden fixed up.
It seems a few of us have had health crap trying to disrupt our growing recently. Glad we all have good weed. If your weeds not good, there’s plenty of opportunity to find some. I love trying new stuff.
Take care of yourself first. I swear the plants tolerate a lot from us sometimes. They might hit a rough patch if I do. As I recover, they always seem to as well.
Here we go. Some new @JAWS testers. 1st off, I see it as a privelidge to test for Jaw’s. White Lemon Larry is going as soon as it’s Thanksgiving. I believe these are The White #2 x Chem 4 x Lemon Larry, correct? I’m soaking 13 seeds. No small or off colored seeds. Started them off getting some Jade mojo.
In a word fruit and depending on the particular heather a sour fruit. All 3 heathers gave a pleasant fruit flavor, not perfumey fruit but more of a fruit punch or tropical fruit. I personally found the sour fruit to be my favorite. Colors varied from a light green to a nice purple with the above photo showing all 3. Nice uniformity to make sure you can get the description provided without popping 50 beans:+1:.
Yield above average, flowering time 8 weeks give or take a week. Potency…I would give a 7. It’s a functional high but as you come down that indica nap is going to slap you in the face and have you tucking into whatever you can. I had a friend who deals with pain on a daily basis describe it as a immediate lightening of her pain and after our session she drifted into a much needed nap.
For context the locals preferred the double heather over this Gary Payton (which tastes and looks great but I find lacking in potency)
“The Potato” is off South Willow Creek. This was up high in the dry stuff. Saw this 30’ away! The blue is my wife’s prize piece. Off North Willow all by itself in the sand. The lense is off Jade Cove proper. The cut piece is an River Blossom Jade from my buddy Sam, sourced from the Eel River. Give the beans some extra mojo. This is my 1st ever photo of seeds. I think. They appear to be going off pretty uniformly. Got soil in those bags I’m using. Soil is in the house. I’ve had cold/cool soil bite me before.
