Morning mofos!

I am officially done until after the holidays. Never fully recovered from whatever I was down with a week or two ago and then slammed in some serious work days outside since and never really recovered. Met an obligation I had to yesterday morning and ended up going to the ER right after wrapping up. Negative on the fast test, diagnosed with some pretty bad bronchitis, waiting on the results from the lab test.

So I’m having fun breathing but guilt free pre holiday vacation!

Don’t tell me how to live my life, What are you my mother? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

What really sucks is that I just ran out of this infused MCT oil I usually keep on hand. This is definitely a time to have some edibles on hand so I gotta address that…

From the sounds of it his would have me orbiting the earth though! I prefer to keep at least one eye on terra firma!

Take it easy bro. I’ve never had bronchitis but it sounds awefull.
I’ve only had trouble breathing a couple of times. That truly sucks.
I was never so scared as when I had an allergic reaction to some meds that the Dr prescribed. My throat swelled until I had to fight to breath. The paramedics took care of it but I really had a look at my own mortality. Believe it or not it’s been, probably, 15 years and I still get a twinge when I think about it.
Some things stick with you I guess.

My recipe is just for the cookies… you can choose what strength you make your tincture to use for the oil. I use RSO myself, so it’s very adjustable. I made a batch with no RSO for my family over Thanksgiving, they went over so well I ended up giving my aunt the recipe. If you want it, that’s no problem. I do have about 20 cookies already made for myself, so if you want a few just say the word. You could eat about a quarter of one at a time and they’d do the job just fine for you, that would be about 20-25mg.

I think the worst I’ve been scared wasn’t about myself but rather the wife! She’s allergic to beestings. When she was almost full term with our first, she got stung and they had to ambo her to the hospital, talking about emergency tracheostomy. She looked like Martin Short in that movie with Danny Glover…so swollen up, like a damn balloon!

So far I haven’t found anything that I’m allergic to lol I can lay down in poison Ivy, Oak and Sumac, with no problem. No meds, nothing…

I’ve had it before, and worse even, but it never matters how bad it has been when dealing it with it at the moment. Trouble breathing is miserable and definitely a bit panic inducing at times. Throat swelling up sounds even more miserable and scary though so it could always be worse I guess.

No one understands him but his womannnnnnn

PM incoming!

They really dig it there huh?

Oh yes. I’ve been more frightened than when it happened to me.
My wife in childbirth when things went South, my daughters first epileptic seizure…
I was speaking about my own experience with not being able to breath.
My heart goes out to anyone who ever experiences that. If I had COPD I would be afraid to go to sleep. You know, I think I’d just plain be afraid I’d just stop fighting to breath and quit.
That is a torture I would not wish on anyone.

Yeah I know that feeling cuz. With this full blown Emphysema/COPD. I’ll stop breathing in my sleep, and the wife says she holds her breath to see if I start back up on my own or if she might have to do something.
