lol Ok, then pain isn’t a true friend cuz. i meant it more metaphorically
No, wait, pain is my friend after all!!! Without it I would never have tried this wonderful plant!!
I LOVE PAIN!!!
Shut up @Slick1 !
Unfortunately the medical profession has become a lot like automotive sales, numbers über alles. Unless it’s their specialty and sometimes even then ordinary doctors aren’t thoroughly read in the subject of apnea.
I have had apnea for 35 years. I have rather severe obstructive apnea which became life threatening and had O2 levels so low for so long I was freely hallucinating and would just fall out anywhere, anytime. Unfortunately for me this was at the advent of apnea research and a CPAP machine ended up costing you $6000 by the end of it. Three or four grand for a sleep study and three grand for a machine.
I wouldn’t be typing this right now without it however. I haven’t bought a machine in sometime, I just refurbish the four I have.
The difference in my wife’s energy, cognitive ability, emotional and physical health is amazing since she began using her C-pap.
You just keep rebuilding those machines bro. I rather like having you around.
She’ll understand what I’m on about then if she’s experienced it. I ended up in a hospital for my sleep study after I passed out in the middle of a conversation and struck my face on the corner of the desk. It’s split my chin and I had to have stitches. I went into the ER to have it dealt with and literally fell asleep in the chair. I managed to find the money to have a sleep study done the next day and was prepared to threaten the doctor was physical violence to take that machine home with me that night. LOL apparently it’s rather frightening to see a 6’1” 235 pound man fall down like something cut his strings.
I fear very little at this age but I have 4 machines in working order and have for 25 years. That says something.
Thanks my friend. Stay off ladders yourself!
Yeah @GREANDAL , It made a huge difference. She didn’t “drop out” but I would be talking to her and know her mind was not on the subject and she was ready to drop into sleep at virtually any moment. Just have a quiet moment and look over at her 15 seconds later and she would be out.
That breathing machine gave her back her life in my opinion.
Yeah, even step ladders man. I used to grease the wheels of a sky lift up at the Lake Of The Ozarks. The tallest was 110’ tall. Now a five foot step ladder is more than I want to climb.
Getting old isn’t for the weak @GREANDAL
I may have my Tinker Bell but I sure ain’t Peter Pan either.
Merry Christmas to you, Mrs. Potseed and all of yours Johnny!
I am shocked! Shocked and appalled!
You like my front walkway eh?
I like it cuz, very nice! Don’t remember if I commented or not lol
i also take vitamin D3 after testing low. the symptoms right before i started a cpap were pretty scary, only problem is i don’t feel refreshed waking up. i went from groggy/drained to just tired and like i said earlier i have to take off the mask when i wake up with dry eyes closed shut and can’t go back to it after i wake up, end up sleeping without it. i guess it’ll work itself out.
My wife gives me Vitamin D shots monthly…
Good Morning OG!
Good Morning @JohnnyPotseed and Merry Christmas cuz!!
Oh yeah! lol That’s today huh?
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!
Merry Christmas
