Santa was very good to me… Lots of filament for the printers, a nice little cordless tool set (yes, most of my tools still have power cords LOL), and the ninja creami to experiment with making infused ice cream! Then it was the 3 house shuffle of delivering presents, first my GF’s sisters place, then her parents, then another sister. At least they are in the same general area, but we were all over between noon and 6pm. Gave some nugs to the one sisters man, he always sneaks me out to the garage when I am over to puff, and BOY was he surprised / impressed. He didn’t think I grew it, and asked me a dozen times “So you really grew this? Damn its good”. LOL
All in all, a pretty good day… We’ll cook our own christmas ham on Tuesday (my girls next day off)…
Oh… and for the chuckle of the day. I asked my GF to tell her parents to get my ANYTHING other than another black sweatshirt (9 years running, I got enough black sweatshirts!). WELL. They listened, and got me ingredients and stuff for the Ninja… BUT…
My GF had ordered sweatshirt / sweatpants combos for sleeping for me. There was a screw up in the order, so she reordered. There was another screw up and they sent two of the second order AND the original order (so… I got like SIX sweatshirts / sweatpants from her). I swear she did it purposely cause I asked her to ask mom, but she swears there were issues on the order and she didnt do it on purpose LOL
Its the rule, not the exception, in Mexico, and I got used to it there… Set the boat up in the am, back home by 9, deal with the days activities before heading back to marina at noon to set up afternoon boat, then it was siesta time from 1:30ish till 4ish… Good luck trying to get food / go to a local shop during those hours! If it wasn’t an OXXO, or a big chain, likely they were closed for siesta!
lol it wasn’t just Mexico cuz. Altho I went there often in the 70s and to a lot of other Central and South American countries too. Most of them in the equatorial did that. lol
lol I did a ‘no-no’ on Christmas eve. I’m type 2 Diabetic so I shouldn’t but… lol I always make up a batch of my grandma’s home made fudge. I used to ‘help’ her so I’ve always remembered the recipe. It’s downright off the hook good! The boys inhaled it whenever I made it as they grew up. Now I don’t make it more than once a year.
Took half of it to my son for him & his daughter.
But I’ve been indulging to the tune of one piece a day here lol Gotta say, the level of self-restraint I have to display makes me proud of myself!!
I honestly don’t care for infused edibles cuz. i prefer to smoke mu ganja. The buzz is different. I make the edibles for the wife. I also make canna-butter so she can just spread some on a piece of toast now n then. I make or have made for me, a good bit of different concentrates. Now those I’ll partake of in smoking a bowl.
