Johnnypotseed’s 3-ring circus - with autos, photos & sex…reversals, that is! (Part 2)

Parents definitely throw eyes at kids misbehaving when theirs is doing good. Most tend to keep it to themselves though since we know it’s only a matter of time till our kid is the asshole at Applebees :joy::joy:

I can take them unleashed. But, people get nervous around pits. They are trained better than some peoples kids!!
Especially taking them to campgrounds! I even get asked if pits are even allowed! :rage:
They do like to chase squirrels tho! Little bastards tease them. They come up on the porch, even look into the glass ! Dogs go nuts!

Loki is a boxer x pit… He has the longer pittie nose… I HATE the stigma attached to pitties. Its the OWNER and not the dog. People don’t understand that. I have known so many great pitties… My boy is a pushover!

So your guys can take care of the squirrels. Mine seems to have a thing for groundhogs. Instead of teasing him on the porch, they sit just out of reach of his lead on the lawn. (Also the reason my dumbass dog had CCL replacement surgery last year)… He’s 3 for 3 on the groundhogs, almost got a possum like a month ago, and last night saw a bunny (aint they supposed to be hibernating?). Thank god he listens, I yell his name and he comes to a skidding stop at the edge of the deck

One of mine had 2 knee surgeries. They also keep the coyotes away from the house. I have 30 acres, partially wooded. We have lots of coyotes here.
Went to go out back one day, they will always wait for me to go first, but they cut me off taking off! As I look to the left, there stands 2 coyotes at the bottom of the deck…:flushed:
They chased them 15 acres back to the woods, turned around came back. Happy as could be…saved your life… lol
I never leash them at home or when we walk our woods. They know their boundaries!

Protective of their pack!

We’ve been seeing more coyotes here. They used to only be on the golf courses 30 mins away, but my neighbors seen them on this trail cams behind the house, and in Oct one was walking the property line behind the houses and passed the neighbor and me maybe 15ft away. Brazen little SOB. There’s a few ridges in town if you go to at night you can hear them howling… They are cunning and will hunt in packs (had 2 attacks last summer in a county park 45 mins away, one was a hiker, the other a hiker and her dog).

Loki is on a lead when unattended or on a walk around the lake (on roads). Otherwise the best exercise is off leash cause no way I can run as much as he wants to LOL

They are cool to hear at night!
Barking, howling, yipping!
Have you ever recorded them and play back? They will sometimes call back…

Morning folks!

No but I have howled and they ignored me

It’s cool to hear for sure… People don’t believe me when I tell them I am 45 mins from NYC and get Coyotes and Bears in the yard (meanwhile, there have been Coyotes spotted along the Major Deegan Expressway in NYC???)…

Development in PA keeps pushing stuff east. Always had woods here, but as a kid, no bears or coyotes… And I mean not a one!

I love big dogs! All my life nothing but. Right now we have 2 Rotties and a Pittwieler From my 135lb male blue Pitt and our 130lb alpha Rott gal lol The male passed but the mommabear dog we mated with another Rottie and kept one, so and her two daughters are all we need… and they DO take up the bed, Until they see me coming to bed and then they’ll all just silently get outta my way!

Neighbor has a Rottie like that, I swear she’s the best trained dog on the block here. Jade is her name, her owner wanted to do K9 (he’s a prison guard). Their bond is amazing…

I agree @JohnnyPotseed I want a bigger dog, even though my boxers are more mid sized to mid-large (german boxers can be REALLY big, like 140+ lbs compared to the avg of 70lbs for a larger American boxer). And pitties, cause I do love the underdog and I’ve only known good pitties (cause I only associate with good owners!)…

We’ve owned a few Rotties over the years and love the breed. That was my first Pitt and they’re great dogs too! It’s all in the owner’s corner as to how they turn out!

These 3 are some of the really loving kind lol but also always on ‘guard duty’… they’ll eat someone up if they came near the house or us lol But if we’re here, then they’ll just lick ya to death, if that makes sense lol

with like 8 new toys for christmas (6 from the gf, the bong and raw cone from me) I’m happy to report the bong seems to be his favorite ROFLMAO

Gotta say he’s an asshole playing though, its keep away, not fetch to him. Or tug of war if you manage to grab hold of the toy. Bring me your toy and I’ll throw it, but I dont wanna chase you around for it!

The past 5 dogs I have owned, 4 of them had neighbors comment “Oh, you have a dog(s)? I had no idea!”, thats how quiet they are (current one included). My last pup, Cassius, was a barker though!
