aside from having meetings all day which kept me from getting out and playing in all this new snow we just got, im doing fine and dandy. another beautiful day above ground.

ive done a lot of snowboarding in my time and have gotten towed around by all manner of vehicle, but i can’t say ive ever been towed by a horse. they kind of scare me if im honest

I get that. A lot of people are nervous about being around that kind of power. I mean, just think about the potential for a bad injury from an animal that size. I was raised around them and yes. I have had some broken bones but that was because I thought I could throw a leg over anything with four legs and hair and ride it.
When people use common sense, though, it’s a pretty safe bet your going to be OK around them. lol

beautiful animals, i certainly admire them from a distance, but up close, i just find myself thinking “it’s cool, i can walk”

Having taken horseback riding lessons as a kid despite my allergies to horse dander making me break out in hives, I tend to think the same thing. 
Otherwise, if they’re trained and you’re trained, they’re great. Just don’t ride them at a trot if you want to keep your nuts intact. Cantering is the most comfortable, but even a gallop is smoother than a trot. Almost anything is smoother than a trot, except trying to get @Slick1 to figure out his damn schedule…

Was snowing here pretty good earlier but you’d never know now. It was actually starting to stick and it was just gone the next minute. Can’t say I’m bummed!
What schedule?! I’m all over the place trying to get some work done when the weather allows and sitting on my ass the next day. I’ve never worked this late into the season and if February keeps throwing me a few days above freezing a week I’m not gonna complain! I have definitely slowed down though and it’s only going to get slower. Maybe we can go sledding at this rate
