When I ran any autos, the lights were 18/6… but, I’ve ran 24/7 for literally decades in photoperiod veg. No ‘rest’, and no harm. there are a lot of different timing methods used by folks, I just figure anyone growing should do as they wanna, as long as it works for them.
Moved to indoor growing in the winter of '84… so 40 yrs now. lol It works for me, and I’m happy.
Oh I have, and do, manipulate the light schedules a bit. Like giving an extra hour of dark during flower. Etc.
But I generally stick to what works (for me). That’s 18/6 and 12/12.
A lot of growers do that, it’s ‘recommended’ by many others. But also, a lot of growers do like me 24/7 &12/12. I hear of adjusting times to simulate daylight getting shorter/longer. But to me, it doesn’t make that much of a noticeable difference. (tried it out to see personally)
Me too. Have not tried it. I normally just go from 18/6 to 12/12 in one day. Plants don’t seem to care.
Exactly! lol They really don’t. It’s the same going from 24/7 to 12/12… they just keep on going and doing like they’re expected to.
I figure 40yrs of doing this is plenty enough time to ‘know’… just MHO

I’m not as ‘scientific’ about this, like a lot are. Getting things so dialed in, it turns into work, more than fun, lol but hey, if they wanna go all out to squeeze every last little bit of Trichs and THD, etc then mmore power to em!
Think I will bust up a bit of London Pound Cake this morning to have with coffee. If I was close enough I would just slip by and do it up right with you. But a couple hour drive, I think my coffee would be cold and my head too high. Hehe.

lol I’m gonna have to run some of the LPC (eventually) hear a lot about it, and curious. But with over 25+ strains going atm, lol I’m gonna hold off for the time being!
There’s just too damn many strains and so little time!!
This here is what I ran in the LPC Challenge, me and @MoBilly put on last summer. Good smoke. Takes a bit more than that Double Grape I ran. Or my ISS. But its still really good and puts you in the nice place. Excellent wake n bake buzz.

@BigMike55 , try a blend of the LPC and Double G. I’ve done it several times and it is very nice that way.

He is one of a kind.
That Double Grape is a faded memory. I smoked the last of it a couple days back. That LPC has been in jars since we finished the Challenge. I had forgotten how nice a buzz it gives. So I have no GP. But I have a couple jars of LPC. Life is good!!!
