Johnnypotseed’s 3-ring circus - with autos, photos & sex…reversals, that is! (Part 7)

Rode a trike with a 283 chevy in it… once, and once only! lol

That’s just too much motor not to have some protection around ya! lol

OH you wanna talk crotch rocket. Throw your leg across a 900 Kawasaki. You better have a good seat when you pour the coal to her. It ain’t built for comfort though. lol

I’ve seen several of those. They called them the Boss Hoss.
Amazing the stuff folks come up with.

Or the Yamaha V-Max. Crazy fast bikes.

Yep, that’s it. The Boss. lol Son had a Kawasaki 1500 a few year back, he buys, fixes, n flips a lot. That thing would rip skin off yer face, like y said lol

Ever notice, the older you get, the slower you ride? lol As a young man, there was no such thing as a bike that went too fast… as I grew older I changed my mindset on that! lol Well, as I aged (and also crashed/wrecked a few times)

Using your body to take down some small saplings and also landscape some ditch banks with your face can tend to do that to a guy lol

That first bike I posted was the Yamaha Royal Star Venture.
It had the same engine that they put in the V-Max. 1470cc (I think it was) but a four cylinder engine. With four carburetors feed those four cylinders. I loved that bike. Bought her brand new. I wanted some extra sound out of her so I bought me a set of slash cut Harley mufflers and hollowed them out. Put them on the Yamaha and that sumbitch howled like a banshee.

Yeah!
That’s why I bought the bike with 1836cc six cylinder engine. That’s bigger than most 4 cylinder cars. On a sub one thousand pound vehicle. If it had wings I believe it would fly I shit you not. If I come to Tulsa on her, ill swing by and let you drive it.

I don’t mind ya swinging by brother. lol you know that… but I sure as hell ain’t getting on anything with only two wheels. as much as I’d love to, I just can’t anymore.

Ok. We’ll let Young “P” ride her and he can report back to you. Cool thing on this Wing. It has a Mode switch on it goes from Rain Mode, Touring Mode and Sport Mode.
Each mode sets up the suspension different, and the air to fuel mixture. Automatically. Cooler than shit.
I can tell you this.
Start from Zero with her in Sport mode. You don’t even have to twist the throttle much dump the clutch and I’m not kidding. It will scare the shit out of you. It throws you back in the seat like you belong there.
I don’t do Sport mode too often. But for giggles I was out past El Reno on the interstate. I switch it to sport and gave it a good amount of petrol and the front wheel heads for the sky. On a frickin GoldWing.

He’d be down for that! lol

Hell yeah. I know him enough I think he’d be careful. And very impressed. Last year just for giggles I test drove a brand new BMW K1600B I nearly bought it. But I though I may not be able to tame this beast. I never felt more like I was strapped to the side of a rocket and set down the interstate. I had that thing up to 160 mph before I could blink my eyes.
I’m telling you. I do love HD but there are far better cycles out there nowadays than the Harley. Seems HD did not keep up with technology. Maybe a good thing??? Check out the Indian Challenger. Incredible bike. Had all the same stuff as a new HD and ten some. For about the same or a little less.
For brand new, if I could not afford that Super HD Screaming Eagle etc…I would look elsewhere. That’s if I was buying new, though. The

Grampa would only ride Indians, that was the first street bike I ever rode.

Dito, my friend, ditto.

Yep Paul is a very responsible rider. he keeps it down on the speeding & reckless crap.

Friend of mine has that new Indian Challenger touring bike. He let me drive it. Its not made fore doing drag races, but it has a nice torquey engine and a big growl going down the road. I thought it felt a lot like my brothers Road King.
