If you’re going to go that far you might as well throw some gravy together while the biscuits are baking. lol
Biscuits and sausage gravy has to be my favorite thing with eggs and bacon. Save a biscuit for butter and elderberry jelly afterwards.

I remember Granny showing me just how much to brown the flower before adding the whole milk. Too many don’t bother and rush it. They end up with Elmer’s glue. Brown that stuff until it’s ready for great gravy. You can smell that nutty odor when it’s ready.

I can handle the cold better than the heat. Yesterday I had, probably, four layers on most of the time and was fairly comfortable.

We didn’t have much of a garden last year. There was too much going on for us to do it justice. Luckily, we had been storing up for a while. The root cellar is still 80% full. lol

I need to go through and toss some stuff in there. So maybe 60%.
