It was usually a joint effort here with our family.
Rose, myself and our 3 sons would discuss what/how to make most pieces.

This one too @JohnnyPotseed . I’ve got a beautiful piece of Big Sur Jade I picked about 40 years ago. A friend did a poor job of making my belt buckle. I could do better myself going to Michael’s or some other craft store. I’d love to have a nice buckle made. The simplicity of the piece @BigMike55 has here is perfect! The setting doesn’t dominate the stone. If you interested, I’d love to chat further. I’ll take some photos. Zero urgency, it’s sat close to 4 decades already!
