your Thunder Rose are some of the most viable seeds I’ve popped out of anything, also I notice the Frankie pops every time no problem (except me I’m the problem on that one lol and other random events)
I’m not that scientific, but Johnny your seeds seem to maybe have a different method of seed preparation than others or maybe just more vigorous parent plants? Anyway rock and roll! Hope all well and everyone staying out of the paths of various storms… one love OG!

I’d think the latter case, my friend. I do nothing special with beans… i glean em, let em dry a week, put em into ziplocks, then into a tupperware container and into the refrigerator they go.

If I may? Just want to add a comment about your genetics while we are in topic JP. I have quite a few different seeds from several different breeders sitting in my collection. One thing I have noticed about yours tho JP is the size. They are so big and perfectly shaped. Beautiful color and consistency. I look for size, color and shape when picking what I want from breeders. I could tell from the first packs I got that these are truly legendary and made by years of experience. I got a mystery mix and I swear these damn things are the size of deer turds haha. That reminds me… I haven’t inquired about any in awhile. Hmmm guess I’m bout do!!!

Thnx for that brother, but it’s mostly genetics that determine seed size. I have some strains beans that are small also, but still just as viable. Some strains make huge seeds, lol
edit… I try to let the plants veg longer than a lot of folks, going 3-4 months or longer, then in flower mode I let them go until they can’t/won’t go any longer. That way the beans are as fully matured as I can get them.

I haven’t made my own seeds, but I’m going to take this advice if I ever do. Some of my favorite breeders take seeded plants full term like they would if they weren’t seeded, they also veg longer like you do to. Mature plants make better offspring I would think. Thanks for the info JP, it’s like gold to me…… precious.
