so i’m doing a mini pheno hunt and don’t have a lot of room. what size pot would you go with? i’m not trying to veg them super long as i’m searching for keepers not really running these for quantity of buds. that will be next round when i find my keepers

At first I always transferred em into 4-5" pots. Then after they get big enough (around 10-14") up-pot into whatever size you use. Usually the final home.

I have my own worm farm and have fresh casting pretty often. I’ll have to give this a try on a few older seeds I have laying around that usually give me a harder time to sprout.

Thanks for posting this. I prefer to germinate in soil but sometimes with older or tricky seeds I do like being able to see the seed and to lay them flat with a pad underneath like with the paper towel technique. This is a great way to germinate by combining them with the best kind of soil to start. I’m going to try this next run.

Tried worm castings only in the small cups for seedlings, works awesome!
Get well soon Johnny!

Natural is the way to go when possible. All about some worm castings and maybe some coconut water. I have heard of using sand paper before to scuff the outer layer, and well there are seed cracking devices these days.

Thanks @JohnnyPotseed very cool stuff!
