Iā€™ve been having better luck with water cloning also. I got a cheap psycloner, threw out the tiny pump that came with it, got a bigger pump with airstones. It has been working pretty well.

Once I plant the clone in dirt, Iā€™ve had to put them under a dome for the first few days, but my success rate has been off the hook compared to the cubes.

Maybe Iā€™ll give that way a try instead of the aerocloner then just basically dwc right?

You can do it either way. The bubbles popping makes mine work like an aero cloner, because I donā€™t submerge the stems.

Edit: I also have it on a timer thay gives me 15 on, and an hour off. The drying is supposed to help you get roots faster.

Cool Iā€™ll look into that

This is mine . I found the insulation for a 3/8 pipe and 1/2 inch wall worked best for me with the darts. I made 1" hole.

I run my pump for just 5 minutes every hour, as mine sprays jets of water everywhere it doesnā€™t take long to wet everything.

I also have to put them under a dome for a few days when they go into soil.

Eventually, Iā€™ll probably make Guitarzanā€™s design aero cloner. This was more of an experiment, since Iā€™ve been having trouble with the cubes.

Using the round pucks in a old plastic container has actually worked pretty well for me also.

My timer only has 15 minute intervals since itā€™s an old analog design. What kind of timer allows on for 5 and off for the rest of the hour?

Is it really that expensive just to buy one? Iā€™m not a DIYer my OCD drives me crazy I hate it perfectionism is the killer of profiting

I got these timers from amazon theyā€™re digital and can have up to 8 programs a day and they have a battery that Iā€™ve seen last months without electricity so if the power goes out or flickers it stays on the same times

You can find many different types of cloners bud. The aero cloners are pretty expensive, but some of the dwc cloners arenā€™t as bad.

Familiarize yourself a but with the different types, then look around a bit.

This bubble cloner was so easy. I have the same issues as you. I still only had a couple hours into it.

G pas Iā€™ve got the exact same cloner itā€™s been a game changer on cloning . Every clone has rooted so far using it. Itā€™s once they get transplanted that Iā€™m getting a couple of casualties but nothing like rooting straight into rock wool or dirt.

Should add if you put a timer on the pump and give approximately 30 seconds off time on the spray nozzles youā€™ll get roots a lot faster then spraying them continually.

Its a digital one I could set it for just 1 minute every hour, has a rechargeable battery in it so if the power goes out it will keep time and function.

Just spray some hydrogen peroxide on it, that will kill it.

With anything involved in Growing if I can make it cheaper, by 50% or more than buying, then thats what I do, I have lots of time but not much cash :frowning:

I was going to spray it but this probiotic group I follow said itā€™s good stuff but idk itā€™s hard to just get an opinion off the internet with something like this

Iā€™d kill it fuzzy mold can bite you pretty quick , once on the stem itā€™s game over once they flop over for a final dirt nap.
