Measured the top of the slurricane (the tallest one) and it read 750 micromoles

I would double check the timer like others have mentioned. Make sure it doesnā€™t have other programs set, some digital timers can have multiple programs. Check for light pollution at night, leds on light strips, controllers, etc can also prevent flowering.

I think you would see other issues before your light would be too bright to prevent flowering. That being said, only 15 minutes of light in the dark cycle is enough to prevent flowering.

You should be able to go up to 1000 micromoles/mĀ²/sec. Without going over 40 moles/mĀ²/day.

This thread has been a fun ride!! Just over 2 days to finish it! Youā€™re doing great dude! Especially after all them rough patches you had, so if that half hour kept them from flowering, would knocking that half hour even make a difference? Should he drop it down to like 10/14 so the plant actually notices a drop in light hours? I just donā€™t see a half hour change triggering the plant. But Iā€™m a newbie so Iā€™m not speaking off knowledge just what makes sense in my vacant lot upstairsšŸ¤Ŗ

Light Cycles play a big role in your plants, as you already know. However, the accepted standard 12/12 for flowering is not the end-all be-all. Your plants are constantly adapting to the environment you create in your garden, and every variable counts. In nature, different climates have different light cycles as well. Try playing around with different cycles, for example my favorite for flower is 11 on and 13 off, taken from DJ Short. Many strains have a more uplifting, positive energy. In side by side comparisons, I found a lot more colorful expressions, some clones which are green under 12/12 were filled with purples in 11/13! The 11/13 seems to also promote some more unique flavor expressions. In my experience, some Sativas flower faster than usual under 11 on. I like to veg with 17 hours of light.

Yeah she looks like a beast, they all have really filled out. Amazing how they got through that rough patch whatever it was.

As far as defoliation goes, and I know there is def timing to consider with this youā€™ll have to look up unless someone else chimes in, but defoliating some at some point(s) will save you a crap ton of work to do all at once later maybe, kind of nice to spread that work load out a lil bitā€¦

The defoliating might also make them grow like crazy as well which is something else to consider, def will be interesting to see what you do and am curious what others suggest.

I never know when to start Iā€™ve tried it a couple times but I think Iā€™ma wait more towards the middle of flowering and maybe give it a go last time I did a wet trim and found it was waay easier than waiting to do a dry try so Iā€™ll probably try and break it up a bit I just never know where to start

Yeah a little bit I noticed he has some growth under the shaded part the top hasnā€™t really changed but his branch grew in towards the female
