Ain’t she a beauty I almost don’t want to breed her
No pistils yet and for some damned reason stink bugs like my indo slurricane 3rd one I’ve found chillin on the canopy
She is loving life! Well done sir!
Maybe you move the male somewhere or isolate him somehow, then collect and try to only pollinate a few branches?
Your gonna have 15,000 Billion seeds
How long has it been? I still don’t see them stretching.
Yeah im thinking of just trying to collect some pollen and bag the plant besides one branch and see if I can just pollinate one part
@Badger today is day 5 I didn’t notice any stretch either I will check on them later got some stuff to do today
If the male is outside, your gonna have issues collecting that pollen. wind Is your enemy.
They may be fixing to start then. I thought it had been longer.
Going to pull him inside before he bursts might just collect it somehow and apply it I know I’ve seen it done
Nothing yet still
Patience my friend. You got us both jumpy
@Badger hahaha well at this point it feels like forever
Finally able to get the outdoor plants transplanted into the 65 gallon pots and got a fresh batch of compost tea brewing
Even her ‘sulky sister’ is looking really happy as well!
They sure like that tea!
Cheers

The male has new growth and showing me his genitalia if I remember correctly he goes through puberty fairly quickly and will pop soon? But how soon? Was thinking about bagging him with a clear trash bag and tying around the stem so pollen remains I’ve never done this before
The males I have grown usually start dropping pollen after 10-14 days but it increases as they get older.
If you seal the plant in a bag, it will run out of CO2 pretty quickly and condensation and moisture build up will ruin the polen.
Could be seal it up, flip it over while holding the soil of course, then shake the crap out of it and then take the bag off or something?
