So what after I get it to my preferred dry point just seal it and freeze? There’s no such thing as long term storage

Somebody told me to stop putting my fan leaves back in the pot but couldn’t tell me why? I’ve not heard that one but I think you’re not supposed to leave the roots in the pot? Idk I usually did but I’ve never reused my pots without exchanging or moving them elsewhere

I mulch my leaves, though some people argue it can provide an environment for molds or pathogens. I think in a biologically active container like living soil, the practice is safe and beneficial.
As far as the roots, I’ve always just left them. They decompose and help loosen the soil.

I was hoping sooner I’ve not finished enough plants to tell ya but I gotta do a walk through for the insurance company with a video chat on my phone before march 5th so it’s pushing it as it is. Today’s the first day I noticed the change

Just keep checking them, and chop them on the 4th if they are not fully ready before.

9.5 weeks should be close to done, they will change some in the cure process anyway, so I wouldn’t panic if you want to take it down a little early, before the majority are still not quite milky looking.
