@Neversleeps sent me some beans to reproduce. I was looking for spice of life’s blubonic and he had something that I’m hoping to be close.
They are old seed so I’m hoping to at least get a male and female to sprout and grow for me.
The cross is (ak99 x blueberry) x blubonic.
I have 10 seeds in a glass of water and peroxide with a minimal amount of roots excelurator for a little help. If these dont take off I have another 10 to try. It should be a blast from the past if these work out. I’m pretty excited

Still nothing in the germination department. I found another nutrient brand I want to give a try on my next bud run. They have pretty good reviews and it’s dry nutes so it shoud go pretty far. If it’s on par with my canna line I might start using this. It would be a bit cheaper in the long run.

I’m getting a head start on my outdoor plants this year. We have had an extremely mild winter so far and back in November I seen a sprout coming out of the garden. I scooped it up and took inside. Now it’s almost a foot and a half and it’s being trained to be a big bush. I have no idea what it is because when I’m done with my indoor soil it gets added to the outside garden. It could be anything, as long as it’s female it will be huge.
I also started a bubba 76 and some
Purple Kush x rks. Outside this year should have a nice old school smell going on

That’s nasty lol. Most of January for us has been about 0, some days double digits even. Tonight and tomorrow we’re getting a cold snap for a couple days then Sunday is back up to 5 degrees and rain. It’s been a very odd winter here to say the least

You should be used to it working up NW Canada, I will be going out in the minus 43 windchill just to see what it’s like, and have bragging writes with my UK family and friends lol. Just hoping the water pipes don’t freeze up in the basement

I’m used to it lol but I still don’t like it. Before I left it was -52 one day without windchill, not nice at all. In all honesty I’d rather -30 there over -5 here. The cold here does a number on me.

Yeah dry cold like dry heat is much more bearable for me as well. It’s just dropped 4 degrees here in an hour, minus 9 atm and constant 32k winds putting it at minus 17 wind chill. Heat pump will be shut down at minus 11, as it goes on auxiliary then, and we will switch over to the oil furnace. The woodstove is sitting at 650 degrees so that helps, might open the oven door and put a fan behind it to blow the air further into the living room lol.

Yeah the winds are going to be nasty. Mr Irving will have a smile on his face this weekend that’s for sure.

@TopShelfTrees1 It’s from emerald triangle seeds. I ordered them from the gta Seedbank a while back. I been waiting to start them because I wanted to use their short flowing time to help counter the short growing season
…. I just checked their site and only 2 strains from emerald are available right now.
You’re in Canada right? I can send some clones or cuttings when they get big enough. It was only a small 5 pk of seeds or I’d send some of those.

Btw I’ve heard good things about that Lotus stuff as well, guy I know who has a couple greenhouses for ornamentals and a killer canna setup swears by it.

I actually looked at it before a few times as his stuff is always stellar and he swears it works out wicked reasonable too. Please Keep us posted, I’m glad I can see someone else use it now tbh.

I been running canna forever and I love it but if I can feed my entire grow for what it cost me for two litres of canna boost and still have comparable results I might have to make a permanent switch

I definitely feel you on that, I ran Canna for 3-4 runs a while back, loved it but my local store stopped carrying it, and I did find it was pricy as well. Keep me updated as I’m super curious now as well
