@landracewarden hoper valley gilget #2 and kandahar #3

Not yet. We’re really warm for what’s normal in April. Our last freeze day is May 7th. So, at the moment the bugs haven’t started up. That may be different in another week if it stay like this. It was at least 83º yesterday, with 70’s for a few days before, and warm again today. It was 53º this morning when I got up.

But yeah, if you live where bugs are already up and at it, you have to keep on a good preventative maintenance program to pull that off without creating an infestation inside. I’ll be spraying mine down with Lost Coast this week if the weather holds. One good thing as far as bugs go, is that we haven’t had a drop of precip. in a month or so. That’ll also buy us a little time. You gotta keep an eye on the plants though and make sure you know they’re clean before going inside. Fall is a much trickier time for me when I start bringing long flowering plants inside to finish. The bugs will survive all winter in your house once they get inside in Fall. :v:

These plants aren’t going outside yet. Not until they are hardened off by weak sunlight So there’s no real thought of it

Sorry for slacking on this one @LandraceWarden and everyone else

But. They are “behind” being transplanted 3 or 4 weeks outside so nothing much was happening

Gotta say. Pungent is off the charts. We went right into summer on the west coast and the funk from these ones woke me up when the sun came up

They all look quite stable. But most plants from the gilget are very unique to eachother on the stem rub

Finally made it into the cattle panel greenhouse. Very root bound and under fed as less is more in this scenerio

They arw def taller overall vs the kandahar #3

Kandahar #3 from @landracewarden

About 50% are “black” and 50% green. Very common from ghanis ive grown. Love the smell. Very pungent and different to the gilget #2.

Stem rub already revealing a strong gassy top shelf hash.

I also resonate more with more squat afganicas

No sex is showing yet from either strain

The plant that you are holding is that in a big Rockwool cube with dirt stuck to roots at bottom? Looks weird just wondering. You said under fed is that why they seem so bright green?

Nute toxicity is a big danger with big plants in small pots.

I would but rather have living hungry plants vs burnt or dead ones

Scroll back thru this thread you will see to keep them growing I popped the rockwool cubes on top of a tray filled w soil

Not much to update

We had no spring. Went from winter to summer in a day which means no cloud or rain. Something I hope for for the first week or 2 of planting outside.

I’ve grown landrace Mazar that ic gave out in 07sh and was not impressed at all. These are th polar opposite.

Strong. Sturdy. Resilient. Pungent.

For the time being I’m more stoked on the kandahar #3. I’m also hoping for the gilget #2 to get me a nice keeper

G#2 seems uncommon to me. The k#3 seems for familiar. Like in diesels and more modern kush or kush hybrids

Sorry @LandraceWarden but nothing much to show off yet. But they are starting to take off

Pictured are the k3

#kandaharblack from @LandraceWarden is starting to get established.

Textbook aghanica archetype

Starting to wonder how many hybrids that exist or that I have grown had this cultivar innit. Including the “purple afghani” in purple kush

Should be blowing up soon

Not much variation. Some just a bit more stouter leaf vs a small elongation on the others.

Cant put my finger in the stem rub yet. It’s strong. Sharp and pungent. Oldschool ghani hash is still my thoughts for now.

I’m really glad I connected with @LandraceWarden. This #gilgettwo stem rub is straight body odor and onions. Still not as loud as the kandahar. Just can’t compare the 2 (side note: the kandahar does remind me alot of my world famous west coast sour diesel and memories from the 90s)

Gilgit has a similar structure to og kush or garlic bud. Alot greener and stretchy.

I’m still stoked on this one. Just resonate with k3 a bit more.
