But they are NOT quantum boards.
These are quantum boards - Quantum Boards® – Horticulture Lighting Group
False advertising like I said mate
Yes, Mars Hydro! Thank you for making such nice quality and affordable tents, lighting equipment and for joining up with OG!!! I own one of your 4x4’ tents and just love it, I also own one of your eco 600w lights but my absolute favorite has yet to come, I’m talking about your new 3000 model coming out this month! Keep the quality products coming!

So what’s high PPE ? Really you invented a new standard to measure with ? And they not quantum boards you are miss leading people here with your Epistar smd … Quantum boards use Samsung … I am surprised that overgrown got this company to sponsor … I have a Mars reflector 144 with all the blues out , and the customer support was awful, yes you sent diodes out to replace them but you need a surface mount machine for the smaller parts … Buyer beware waranty claims are lol
It’s not a 3x3 tent that’s the max size the light itself can be. 1000w hps. Is what’s being replaced. I looked at the light you suggested and those are comparable to a 450w hps according to your site. I’m needing to get the same output as a 1000w. Prices aren’t bad at all
Hi, Explorer
Very interesting question, we have to admit that different grower will grow different results, right? During in a grow process, light is only one factor for a great harvest, right?
To grow up a clone or seed, there are many factors will be included for a good results, like light, nutrients,ph rate, humidity, lights lightening time, lightening height, etc.
This is the data from our customer feedback, it’s only for lightening part.
So why state your light grows 1.5gpw average?? It’s false advertising at it’s worse.
Hi, Daytripr69
At present, we don’t have one fit for 3*3 tent, have an actual power of 1000W. Bigger power means bigger consumption, sometimes, it will burn the plant.
Hi, Esrgood4u
Another good question here.
Before release all the new lights, our engineers will carry out various planting tests. This is the average value after many tests, and all feedback is from our first batch of customers.
Where is the proof to back the statement up??? I think it’s total BS. Even the best growers can barely scrape 1.5gpw with ANY light.
I’m done now with this thread. It’s all lies and misleading people to part with their hard earned cash. YES these lights WILL grow weed but so will a standard lightbulb and you’d likely yield just as much. If people buy into this BS and buy your lights they deserve what they get (or don’t get in this instance). Good luck.
Whatcha got for a 2x4 actually just under that measurement?
And cost, don’t want to go cheap either.?
Yes, we totally understand why you reacted like this?
As an official company and be in this industry for 9 years, what’s good to give customers a fake data? If we lies, we won’t be in this industry for 9 years. And we believe that the admin won’t select us as a sponsor on overgrow.
If it’s not fake data then show the proof.
We strongly recommend Mars reflector 128 for your 24 tent, Cree chips,it can cover 2.54.5 for growth, and 2*4 for flower. It has a 20% off deal, what’s more, use coupon code"overgrow" you can get an extra discount.
1000 is just a number lol. Pls stay tuned, we will have a giveaway in this week!!
Forget size I’m needing the output equivalent to that of a 1000w hps.
I disagree. I spent 5 years overseeing and operating a small 3 store electronic cigarette company. In my experience, most Chinese companies misrepresent their products. All of which I dealt with are still in business. People buy Chinese products because they’re cheap. Cheap to buy and cheaply made. Everyone hopes to luck out and not have that defective one, and I’ll never believe a Chinese company produces products with a less than 5% fail rate. Before you say that’s just the vape industry, I oversaw all operations including opening the 2nd and 3rd store, and I have seen all types of products from cabinetry (drilled improperly), to drywall (sulphur content high) come from China defective, or worse knockoffs.
The bottom line is that you cannot legitimately make a gpw claim. It’s not possible. If I use your light and get 1 or 1.25gpw are you going to refund my money? No, because everyone grows different and other factors could play a factor… such as veg time. I wonder how long it took your “engineers” to grow out plants with a 1.5gpw average…
The second issue is the misleading product names. TSW 2000 Quantum Board? Really? To a novice or even many intermediate growers this is instantly misleading. First, you use the name Quantum Board which is a well known, long standing, product name from an actual leader in LED grow lights. In my opinion that instantly makes your light a Chinese knockoff. This leads people to believe that your product is using top quality chips and are safe when in reality they are using substandard products with questionable reliability. Second, the 2000 following the TSW is less of an issue, but it’s still misleading. Does the 2000 refer to the wattage? The wattage replaced? An arbitrary number assigned to differentiate between TSW models? And what the hell does TSW even mean?
I will follow along and see how the test grow by one of our mods goes, and I do hope that your claims can be substantiated. I would love to be proven wrong about my perception of your company.
As it stands my perception of the MarsHydro brand is they’re garbage. Your company has been known for 9 years as a cheap blurple manufacturer who overstates their abilities and misleads their customers. You’re moving out of the blurples, so that gives me some hope that your lights are more than expensive paperweights. On the other hand, your continued use of misleading and confusing product names and “statistics” drives me to continue to recommend against using your products.
I appreciate your sponsorship of Overgrow, but see your continued involvement in the growing industry as built on deception and lies taking advantage of poorly informed individuals.
