Looking for lady bugs-

Anyone have advice about a good source for ladybugs?

I’m growing in soil, started with gnats, when they disappeared, I noticed soil mites-

Now I’m fighting tiny white flys, aphids, thrips, or what ever the heck they are…

I’ve sprayed neem, but they keep coming back-

Spotted in flower area also…

Not an infestation, but would love to get some ladybugs on the job…

I’d check your local hydro shop or just order online on maybe Amazon…

Look into Predatory Mites for your garden. Might be better then ladybugs

Lady bugs on amazon

And a side note about the ratings. As an amazon seller myself, dont be a dick. If they are dead, just message the seller and let them know and at least give them a chance to make it right first. 3rd party sellers are not amazon and you can ruin an entire honest persons business because you just didnt care or dont understand that and didnt give them a chance to make it right and just left the 1 star rating.

It looks like most of the 1 star ratings for both the listing @WeTokeChronic and the ladybug seller are just that the bugs arrived dead. Theyre live animals, its gonna happen. Key is how the seller responds to it. Now if you give em a chance and they dont make it right as per the listing and guarantee, yeah, fuck em, 1 star rating and a to z, but give em a chance first.

The way amazon has it set up a low volume seller of less than 100 items a month can literally be suspended for a single 1 star rating or an a to z claim. It sucks. One karen per 100 orders and could be done. But if the seller earned the 1 star, thats on them.

Seller ratings are supposed to be about service, not the item itself, so give em a chance to provide service fully before rating.

Lots of people dont even realize the 3rd party vs amazon difference and treat 3rd party sellers like big faceless amazon and dont care and it also sucks.

Arbico Organics

They’ll send a catalog if requested. They have all of the good bugs and other organic pest management products as well.

That’s the problem, right there. Neem is hella overrated.

If it’s aphids, you can even use the freshwater hose to spray the plant good and try and spray from the bottom up, and /or turn your plant on it’s side to spay the bottom of the leaves.

Don’t spray so hard that you break limbs but a good spray maybe even two to three times a day. You’d be surprised how well it works sometimes. It’ll work for lots of small infestations. They like to be left alone. So, piss them off enough and they won’t take hold.

Used them in the past for ladybugs, was very happy… And the catalog is also rather informative on what good bugs are better for what issues…

They’ve been around for decades, too, I think. They sure give you plenty of options. I like that.

I feel like neem oil just takes care of PM and aphids.

For gnats and thrips etc…Certain soil drench recipes or predatory mites will be the only thing that works really
