Thats why I do it, i do the initial planting then after it grows a bit and starts getting taller i add more soil, gives more room for roots as well if you gently scrape the stem area that will be covered. Pretty much same as if you were transplanting

The top 4 are being grown out to pick from for this contest. They are mystery fems from msnl mystery fem pack. The ones on bottom are mac and are not being entered, there is much larger plans for them…They all have a new source of wind pointed at them, this I think truly helps make them more hardy…

I feel like I’ve finally started getting the hang of watering these little cup plants. I had a rough start to the week but they’re starting to look better. I’ve moved them to my main growing space with a fixed light so they can stretch a little and I can save some $$$.

Not much to report here! My two seedling new starts got fried in the 100 temps a few days ago no beuno ! Topped cups with some biolive today and some compost and yes I did manage to kick them over like bowling pins!

It never fails, no matter how careful you are . Just the thought alone carries you over to the plants to kick em😜

Here is my weekly report, had something come up the day I was going to stick them under the big light and I only had time for a quick feed and go. Well 2 days later I come home and find that 2 of them were fried with light burn from the LED’s cause they got to close. They are safely under the hps now and loving life.

Little update for you guys!
Here’s my two #GaryPayton seedlings going strong, but like always one better than the other!
The DP60 from Secret Jardin has been a dream for this project, got it setup just the way i wanted!
Propagation tent at work! The two ladies in their pedestal… LOL
Hope to improve and see if i ever get to win one of my own cups… LOL
